“We just returned from a fantastic month's stay at Russel and Lorraine's cottage. The location is perfect and the complex of cottages is fully fenced and secure. You are close to both Oliver and Osyoos as well as many wonderful wineries. We loved everything about this cottage and the area. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. “We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter...

“Very cute and nicely decorated cabin! Only drawback was no internet. When I questioned it, I was told it wasn’t listed in the amenities. It should be disclosed more up front vs just not listing it as an amenity. Also felt it was tacky that the cleaner left a tip envelope since the cleaning fee is part of the rental cost.”

“Gracie’s Place is a cute, well-stocked cottage with many of the comforts of home. It sits on a 1-acre tiny house village called “Camp Ramsey”, part of “Ramsey Resort”, according to the welcome packet. The photos on the listing with the red chairs by the river are of a separate deck a 3 minute walk down the trail right on the river, a beautiful place for relaxing, reading, and having morning coffee. “Very nice cabin. We were able to relax and rest. Sitting on the river watching the birds, SO MANY different kinds of birds. It was nice to not have to haul utensils, pots and pans or bedding and towels. It was all ready there. Our dogs went swimming in the river and loved it. Close to Crater Lake, we took a day trip. Clean, quiet, restful. We'll be back.”
