“We had quite an amazing experience at Marvel Hills. Location very good for local access, complete privacy in the room, and a host who was quite exceptional. Freshly prepared local cuisine for breakfast, great chats with the host, he even arranged for a local spice seller to come and see us, so now we have enough, high quality, spices to last for a good while. Excellent!”

“This is in a beautiful location! High up in the hills. The hotel is lovely. We arrived and waited for an hour or so. It seemsd abandoned and the telephone number was out of order. So we decided to leave and walk down the hill to find another hotel. So lucky for us we asked a man if he had a tuktuk and it turned out he worked at the hotel sometimes so took us back. Indika was incredile. He looked after us from start to finish. Made sure our rooms were kovely and clean. Brought us refreshments....

“The property and staff were all amazing. The breakfast and dinner was good. Getting a ride via pick me can take some time as not all drivers want to come up the hill. Make sure you a lot enough time for travel. We were going to be late for our train because a PickMe driver canceled. But the hotel made some calls and arranged for a quick Tuk Tuk ride and we made it right in time. ”

“It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town, which was great. But there was some sort of loud music or karaoke in the evening that was unexpected and went until 11 pm. ”

Wish we had another day to spend in this hotel . The staff and manager went out of their way to serve us and beautifully decorated and very homely 👍. Definitely 💯 percent will recommend this magical hotel to my friends and family when they visit Kandy ”
