Hotel a Catoctin Mountain Park

“This propety is in need of major updating and cleaning. When I went to my room, a busted water pipe was leaking onto the carpet close to my room. It was still leaking at time of check out. I understand it takes time to repair, but the carpet was soaked, ceiling tiles falling in and no bucket to catch the water. Also, heat was substandard, HVAC system was loud and bathroom was not clean. The room was cheap and I needed a place to sleep for a onsite job in Thurmont, so you get what you pay...

“The room was clean”

“The room was clean, however, there were no drawers to place your clothes if you are spending more than a day or 2. The breakfast area was neat and clean.”

“Room was clean but the entire building needs updating.”

“N/A”

“Charming. Great location. Bathroom very dated and the towel holder fell to the floor. Overall, a great historic property.”

“This property was unique as it had a winery right on property with so many activities such as, line dancing. The food and drinks were excellent. The house was impeccable and beautifully decorated. The property is large and beautifully kept. You can tell this is a special property for the owners. Also, the staff was friendly and very attentive , I highly recommend this B&B whether it’s for a romantic getaway or any type of an event.”

“Very clean and comfortable. I stayed once before in November of 2011. Properties look the same 👍”

“Great location to visit Gettysburg Battlefield sites. Parking, breakfast, staff were all great. My only surprise was no coffee in the rooms. But they do provide 24/7 coffee/tea in the lobby.”

“Didn’t figure out the AC/heat system until the morning. Bright lights in parking lot were bothersome since curtains didn’t close.”

“Kind staff”

“The young lady that set up breakfast (her name was Patricia?) Was so accommodating. She got me extra hot water for my special protein oatmeal and got diet syrup for my diabetic brother inlaw. She the. Let me know about the hard boiled eggs and strawberries and blueberries. She just made our difficult diet restrictions so easy.”

“Great location, near all the attractions. Nice restaurant within walking distance.”

“Our stay at Sleep Inn was extremely disappointing. We booked and paid for an entire week, yet the manager threatened to kick us out despite having a reservation for the full duration of our stay. It was incredibly unprofessional and stressful to be treated this way when we had already made arrangements and expected to be able to stay for the time we paid for. The way management handled the situation was unacceptable. Guests should be treated with respect, especially when they have a confirmed...
