“Staff were very helpful and the breakfasts were good, catering for those with allergies. Lovely quiet hotel with good sized rooms. Good location for exploring other places nearby.”

“We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout by friendly helpful staff.Our room 60 with patio was lovely.so we sat in the sun overlooking gadrens listening to birds singing and a Squirrel on the lawn . “Disappointing experience . When I informed reception at 6.15 pm that we had no water for the bath or shower I was told there wasn't any maintenance available . So neither I or my wife could have a shower that evening or the next morning ( today ) . On check out I reminded the manager of this problem , but no redress or discount was offered ; until I asked for a discount . “Incredible location, lovely staff and cosy room. The staff really made this place that extra bit special, they were so attentive and chatty it was lovely to talk to all of them. They really made our stay so much better than just the hotel itself which was beautiful!”

“Room was a little small and showing signs of ware and tare. Excellent breakfasts with fresh fruit salads, continental spread, hot food cooked to order and tasty. I did not try the lunch or dinner but I noticed a lack of vegetarian options. I also did not try the indoor pool or gym. I had afternoon tea there which was a bit pricey and underwhelming.”
