“This property is managed by Vacasa and it's a nuisanse. When you're traveling you'd appreciate having all the information in one source. Unfortunately, in this case VRBO site merely redirects you elsewhere which is often inconvenient. They stay itself was pleasant. The staff was responsive and accomodating. We found the $15 AC surcharge a bit strange and actually a bit spoiling the impression. I doubt it's a good business model (we didn't take it).”

“Owners/managers were always responsive and in a very timely manner from very beginning. Answered every question I had. Once there, staff were immediately responsive to requests, needs or questions. The home is spacious, clean and has two futon beds in addition to bedrooms so the 6 of us each had our own bed. “Clean, loved the pool, doc, games and deck! Was nice to just grab a beer at the front desk. Helpful with restaurant suggestions and taxis. Very clean and easy. Just far enough from the main downtown so was quiet but very easy to walk or bike around. We would definitely stay here again! ”

Our only note was that because there’s a boat to/from town means you can’t stay out too late in town because the last boat back is 9-10pm. All good for us since I was there with older family, but something to be aware of for younger people looking for nightlife!”

“The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children.”

Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company. He is very knowledgeable about the island and marine life.”
