This was my first time visiting the beautiful town of Cayucos even though I was raised on the central coast. The location of this property was perfect. It was about1 block away from the beach and close to the shops, pier , play ground and restaurants! The house was set up nicely and had everythng you needed. We were able to explore Morrow Bay as well. Spent time in San Luis Obispo and Avila Beach!! The host was very responsive with any questions me had. 5 star review!

Cute Lil Beach Getaway

Loved our stay at this quaint beach house! Walking distance to the beach and various shops. It has a fully stocked kitchen which was a huge plus for our group. It did feel a little dusty and many people in my group had horrible allergies during my stay though.

Great trip

Overall this place was great! Super close to the beach access, its not overcrowded, there's a playground nearby and the cutest most amazing coffee shop down town(luna). Positives outweighed the minor issues for sure! I'd stay again They had boogie boards, chairs, beach cart and sand toys provided. The kitchen has everything! (Unless you want plastic for littles to use). The two spaces are small garage spaces. Our mini van barely fit(couldnt open doors) but the problem we didnt expect(I realize most won't have this issue) is that we planned to park our pop up camper. From the pictures, it appears there's plenty of space(a huge reason we chose this property)but what you cant see is the space in front of the home is a shared HOA space with two buildings facing it to make a courtyard space and they have full time occupants . We couldnt fit in the garage. We had to street park and leave trailer attached, this made parking a nightmare due to having a disabled person with us. Overall the place was mostly clean and their cleaning list is short when you leave. There were some ants in the upstairs bathtub, the dishes needed prewashed before using as they weren't properly cleaned before being put away. The dishwasher isnt attached, so it falls forward and prevents the slides from working properly. The outdoor space is all shared HOA property, except for the balcony. I couldnt find sheets for the rollaway beds. So my little shared with us. Overall a great place for the price!

Fabulous!!!

Golden Sands was a perfect place for our family. Close to the beach, pier, downtown, restaurants and Brown Butter Cookie. Everything we needed was provided. Clean and comfy. We enjoyed ourselves immensly.

Perfect Beach Retreat

The unit was clean, spacious and comfortable. Convenient location, easy walks to shops, restaurants and the pier. Great to have two car garage. Easy check in and check out. Very quiet and safe neighborhood.

Awesome beach location

The unit was comfortable overall. We encountered ants on the kitchen counter and master bath. . The carpet on the stairs and throughout unit need deep cleaning or replacing. Batteries on the remote for televisions needed replacing. The unit overall was clean and beds were comfortable. Would consider staying again.

Good... but could be better!

Location, location, location! Stocked well. Need to fix fireplace. Drippy toilet upstairs. Poor communication, regarding property usage... TV usage, trash take-out, trash bags, heater control... simply need a property manual available!

Great location!

This condo is half a block to the beach entrance and close to the pier and restaurants. The bathrooms and kitchen are dated but very clean. The bedrooms and living/dining area are modern and very comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus with teenagers.

Perfect spot close to town

This is the second time I’ve rented this property. It’s so close to town and the accommodations are perfect for us. This year the water heater broke and the management company was able to replace it in the same day. I was very impressed! The only drawback was the back porch light had been disconnected and was lying on the ground. Overall we love staying there and I’m already planning on booking again next year!

Wonderful place that is near the ocean

Very close to the beach and affordable. Would have been nice to know that there was a scaffolding partially covering the view though. This will be gone when the tiled roof is done. The fridge badly needs to be updated. Did not make ice and made horrid sounds about every 15 min or so. With a couple of negatives out of the way, this place really was cool and very great to stay in! I will definitely try and book this gem again! Thanks!

Great vacation home

The home is a good size, was very clean, well stocked with necessary things. The location is good, close to other small towns like Morro Bay. Cayucos is a cute town,, friendly people.. There were a couple of minor technical issues- a new refrigerator but ice not hooked up, TV has streaming but no package purchased so TV shows are not current. Maybe notes on how to use would help. The deck on back of house is undergoing rehab.

Great stay!

The condo we had in Cayucos was in the best location!! Just steps away from the beach and the town of Cayucos. Restaurants, stores, antique stores just right there. The pier and beach just a few minutes walking distance. The condo was very nice and roomy with a nice balcony. We had a great time.

Great Location

Cayucos is a great town. We had a lovely weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed the location of this property. We hiked, kayaked, shopped and enjoyed the local eateries.

Terrific location. Lodging needs attention.

Lodging is quiet and right down town. Mediocre at best. Poorly decorated and supplied. Thrift store kitchen stuff. Hard beds, poor lighting, awkward parking situation and only one key for a three bedroom unit. Heater is faulty and makes so much noise it can't be on when it's time to sleep. No instructions for trash removal. The unit could be improved if the caretakers came through and reviewed it, redecorated, resupplied, and fixed things.
