Cedar Island Coastal Cottage

Adorabile, caratteristico cottage! Il cottage può ospitare 4 persone e dispone di una camera da letto principale con materasso matrimoniale tempur-pedic, un bagno completo, soppalco al piano superiore con divano letto doppio e letto estraibile doppio e mezzo bagno al piano superiore. Proiettato sotto il portico offre un letto sospeso a grandezza naturale per ammirare le fantastiche vedute sull'acqua del Pamlico Sound e North Bay e guardare il tramonto. La cucina completamente attrezzata ha ripiani in granito ed elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile. I pavimenti in hickory attraversano tutta la casa. L'accesso vicino alle spiagge sabbiose e alla rampa della barca pubblica è a meno di 100 metri di distanza! Ottimo posto per caccia, pesca, canottaggio e nuoto! Cottage dispone di doccia esterna e zona pranzo in modo da poter godere della pace e della tranquillità che l'isola offre! Puoi anche raggiungere a piedi il terminal dei traghetti di Ocracoke per una gita di un giorno a Ocracoke Island!

Questa è una coppia a tempo pieno a casa, ma mentre viaggiano, vorrebbero offrire la loro casa e questa bellissima isola per far divertire gli altri.

Si prega di portare sedie da spiaggia, teli mare, crema solare e spray per insetti.

This was our third time at this cottage; while Cedar Island is somewhat remote (it's a gorgeous hour-long ride into the main towns), it is a terrific central base for a wide range of day trips. Ocracoke ferry station is at end of street, making for an amazing ride, lunch, beach trip, and walk around the historic village. Tryon Palace is an easy drive on a cloudy day that isn't good for the beach. Cape Lookout is a marvelous trip for shelling and solitude. Beaufort has wonderful restaurants and boat rentals, along with excursion boats. Emerald Isle beaches are excellent. On Cedar Isle itself, there are wild ponies and cows to be seen on the long walkable beach. This is a great location for a couple looking for privacy and a week-long getaway.

Perfect sisters beach trip

This was the perfect cottage for unwinding and relaxing. It’s a lovely location offering serene walks on the beach at sunrise and sunset. The screened in porch and bed swing provided the perfect setting for morning coffee and evening chats.

Lovely remote cottage

Wonderful lodging for the traveler who wants a quiet and scenic location. Cottage is remote with a scenic drive to reach. Short walk to a quiet wide-open beach. Enjoyed evenings on a lovely large screened in porch. Easy private parking. Interior was comfortable and clean. Outdoor shower was great when returning from beach. Tiny kitchen but has all one needs to cook.

Excellent gateway

We loved Heather's cottage, it was clean and just as advertised. Our favorites were watching the sunset on the porch, taking walks in the beach and horseback riding just down the road. Highly recommend, if we ever get a chance to go back to NC this cottage will be the place we'll book for sure!

Peaceful Bliss

Born and raised in NC, I have never been to this area of our state. It is beautiful - stunning. Not having any true commercialization eliminated the standard tourist noise. The house was lovely. It has a very very small kitchen so plan accordingly. The views were spectacular. Our only regret is not being able to bring our family dog. That amenity becomes a showstopper for us most of the time.

Great little house!!

Our stay was wonderful! Everything in the house is as pictured, no surprises. It was very comfortable for the two of us. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Some tips that others might find helpful…we had very high winds for a few days and you could feel the house swaying while you’re laying in bed. I learned through a quick google search that this is completely normal for a beach house on stilts. Just a little scary if you’ve never experienced that before! This is an isolated area, not much around nor many people around if you’re here during the week (at least after Labor Day). Perfect if that’s what you’re looking for, a little lonely feeling if you like seeing other humans on your vacation. The house does not have a blender, so no frozen margaritas for us :( But it was very well stocked with everything else we needed. We couldn’t find any directions for the TV, but we think it is all just streaming channels through the internet. The movies would sometimes cut in and out due to weak internet connection, but it was doable. It’s good to take a vacation from television anyway, and if you bring a good book you won’t miss it at all. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened porch with the rocking chairs and swinging bed! Dinner on the porch watching the sunsets (and sometimes the storm clouds) were awesome 💙💙💙 K & J

Quel lieu paisible!

Ce cottage est parfait avec une cuisine très bien équipée et même des denrées de base à notre disposition (merci!). Nous avons adoré la terrasse en hauteur avec les chaises berçantes et le lit suspendu. La totale pour relaxer, observer les oiseaux, écouter le coassement des grenouilles et regarder le coucher de soleil. Oui, il y a des moustiques, mais aussi un écosystème très riche. Il n’y a pas de grande table à l’étage pour manger, mais nous nous sommes bien accommodés des deux petites tables étant seulement 3 personnes (2 adultes et 1 ado). Les lits sont confortables et l’air climatisé fonctionne très bien. La plage à quelques minutes de marche était superbe et peu achalandée lors de notre passage. Nous avons abondamment utilisé la douche extérieure (trop super!). Bref, c’est un beau paradis, le cottage « Pumpkin »!

A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN!!

My fiancé and I stayed at this cottage for 6 days, and we did not want to leave!! It was SO private and relaxing, which we both needed! Calming Cottage
