“Rooms are very basic but acceptable, bed was comfy enough. The problem is that there is no possibility to open the windows so in 4 days fresh air never entered the room. There is a sign saying there is always fresh air coming in despite windows are closed but that’s only if you are ok with freezing with air con…I get it is linked to safety but you would just need to install some block of sort on the windows not to open completely, not let the people not get fresh air whatsoever. “Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear.”

“The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!”

Molto caldo, vista l'assenza dell'aria condizionata (ma in reception era possibile chiedere dei ventilatori). Colazione dolce già pronta o salata preparata sul momento dietro ordinazione. Estremamente gentile e disponibile il personale della reception, in particolare il ragazzo italiano che ci ha assistiti.”

“Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful .”

Il proprietario ci ha accolti con estrema cordialità nonostante fossero quasi le 10 di sera, una persona deliziosa! Camera pulita, comoda e funzionale, non manca nulla.
