“Had a great stay”

“La camera si trova sopra il pub in una via in pieno centro storico. Per il prezzo pagato è sicuramente un’ottima sistemazione, usciti dalla porta siete subito sulla via principale dei negozi e ristoranti e a pochi passi dalla casa di Shakespeare. Il letto è comodo , il bagno privato decente e avete la macchina del caffè/tè a vostra disposizione. Il parcheggio coperto è a un minuto dalla struttura ed ha un prezzo accettabile rispetto ai parcheggi inglesi”

“Neat place above the pub. If staying in that section, the stairs are quite narrow to get checked luggage up - but doable. We booked through Expedia and it said no attendant on site - so there was confusion on where to leave our bags and we did not receive a response so we ended up paying Premier Inn to hold our bags. “Travelled with family. Easy access to lock box outside. Spacious. Lovely 3 bedroom charactered house. Good location. En-suite bedroom on first floor with 4 poster bed with TV. Top floor have two bedrooms, would be perfect if there is another TV upstairs too for the children! Kitchen well equipped with dishwasher. Very pleased about the deep bath ! ”

“We liked that the hotel was right in the heart of town and that there was a lot of energy and activity around. The restaurant was only fair in so far as the food goes. The service was haphazard in the restaurant and there was no one to greet you. The room was okay , but it was cold when we were there and the heat did not work. “The property was warm and welcoming — truly a home away from home. The location was perfect, with everything within easy walking distance. We received a lovely personal welcome, including a thoughtful card and a generous welcome pack with a nice bottle of wine, chocolates, tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. I would highly recommend this place. A genuinely warm and inviting place to stay. ”

“Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!”

“We stayed here for the weekend of26th June , what a gem of a place to find . Room was lovely , staff were very chatty and nothing was too much trouble , food excellent . Although not in the normal hot spot stays , this pub is in a quiet location but not far from anywhere . Highly recommend a stay here at this pub”
