“Good 1 night stop over hotel Good location for visiting ths Irazu Volcano early in the morning Breakfast and room ok”

“On hotels page it says food and drink, they have nothing! The address is totally wrong and way different! Whennohoned their number it was someone else’s number but she sent me the actual address and said she has had many phone calls! I ended up leaving shortly after getting there as no food and totally not what says they have on the hotels.com page!! Wasn’t even offered a refund for my second night so didn’t even stay there but paid for 2 nights”

“Ostello dotato anche di camere per coppie e famiglie con bagno condiviso, arredato con gusto e con grande capacità di recupero di materiali (pallet per basi letto e divani e rulli per cavi elettrici come tavolini) con un gradevole giardino frequentato da varie specie di uccelli. Colazione nutriente. Grande ospitalità e disponibilità da parte del personale.”

“I stayed here for 1 night. It was my first time in a hostel and I was highly impressed. It’s very clean, well kept and safe (24hr concierge and locks on the entrance to building and your room). They have different activities everyday to socialize with other travellers. I will definitely will be staying here again.”

“This was a great choice for me and my family. We had a great stay. The staff was nice but they could have been more warm and friendly. The rooms themselves were clean and maintained well. I like that it was like an apartment (it had a fridge, microwave, stove top, sink, and plates/cups). The breakfast was good. The location was great for us because we were able to walk to the mall that's nearby and it was a short drive to downtown San Jose.”

From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. “Friendly and nice staff. Quite comfortable. Very good location, in city center of San Jose, was able to walk everywhere. Supermarkets, convenience stores, fast food are near. Great sodas located on the first floor, under the hotel. Very good price overall. Someone here complained: The hot water is near the beginning of the knob as opposed to the back. There are some roaches in the bathroom and they stayed near there, which is the only downside. ”

“Hotel carino ma in foto sembrava più bello. Struttura d'epoca, camere ampie ma suggerirei miglioramento dei bagni e un arricchimento della colazione. Lo staff molto gentile poiché tre persone del mio gruppo non potevano usufruire della colazione e ci hanno decurtato l'importo delle 3 colazioni dal totale. Centralissimo, tra il Barrio Amon e il centro città tutto a piedi.”

“Nice hotel, it was worth more than I paid. Stores and restaurants are around this hotel, and you can go to San Pedro Mall on foot, and city central by taxi for 10 mins. It’s quiet usually around it. Mr. Mark, owner of the hotel, turn off the light at 10pm everyday, so you can sleep comfortably. You can get many services there, i.e. nice pancakes for breakfast (surprisingly free), laundry services, and others. And don’t forget this: everyday he sends us off at hotel with warm “PURA VIDA”.”

“Otoya1907 is the perfect place to stay to see historic San Jose. It is conveniently located, charming, and comfortable. The staff was friendly helpful, and welcoming. He patiently taught me the door codes and keys. The kitchen area is a bonus. The Cafe Otoya is very nice.”
