“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“Drumee Lodge is a beautiful property, in a picturesque location, close to the Mourne Mountains. The property is stunning and the hosts are fantastic. They were both so welcoming and made our stay so special, including leaving chocolates and a birthday card, in our room. Highly recommended to stay. We will stay again ”

“Yes, room felt very comfortable and clean, staff were very nice and there were absolutely no issues with breakfasts. All perfect. And Parking was spot on. Ample space. ”

“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

You have a coastal walk of Strangford Lough, an amazing Castle, all the village amenities and great pubs, with the Dufferin Arms providing that that fantastic Irish atmosphere and experience (stones throw from Driftwood. The owners of Driftwood could not do enough to make you feel welcome and were on hand to any questions. Massive thank you to Jo. Exceptional value and highly recommended. ”
