Hotel vicino a Centro di Artigianato Devon Guild of Craftsmen - Newton Abbot

“Ho soggiornato qui qualche anno fa e non ero rimasto soddisfatto. Questa volta però ho trovato l'albergo all'altezza. La posizione è ottima, direi che è orientato alle vacanze, più che a un soggiorno di lavoro. Vi era infatti una comitiva di turisti austriaci, che apparivano molto soddisfatti. Le camere sono confortevoli e ragionevolmente silenziose. La colazione è passabile e la zona ristorante ha una vista assai gradevole. L'unico neo è la strada di accesso, che è fin troppo stretta.”

“A grand hotel building set on a picturesque estate with very good parking. It is set quite of the beaten path and the lane leading to the car park area was quite bumpy, dirty and replete with potholes. The hotel is part of the Sure Collection which is Best Western's premier line. The décor was a little tired, especially the carpeting in the corridors, some of which seemed to have been cleaned but only on the main walkway areas. “la struttura si presenta bene e la camera assegnataci era molto ben arredata e spaziosa. da tenere presente che proprio di fronte l'hotel si trova una chiesa che ogni ora ( anche di notte) scandisce il tempo con rintocchi di campana. al pian terreno si trova un pub ristorante che definirei nella media.”

“Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. ”

“The Hotel is lovely and old, very warm and very clean. The pool was amazing, soo clean and never busy. The best thing about this Hotel though, is the staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Loved Jo in the restaurant and can’t wait to come back. ”
