Hotel in zona Centro di Avalon, Avalon

“This was truly a 5 star stay! We stayed for 2 nights in the off season—late October. The staff were very friendly and kind, even before we arrived! Great communication on what to expect, and they had pool towels and goodie bags for our kids ready and waiting for us! They had an immediate back up plan and solution for when I accidentally locked myself out of the room and were very kind and helpful! The room was very clean and the property was in great shape. The indoor pool was perfect,...

“Quaint, clean, inexpensive place to stay in that area of New Jersey !”

“Quaint throwback to the 1950’s. The room was clean, the staff friendly and the location very convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants. Parking is on site and the area is very quiet.”

“Nice, clean and beautiful hotel will definitely be back, the lights by the pool create a warm and cozy atmosphere.”

“$$$”

“The room was very clean. It was a great location. It was safe. The gentleman in the office was so extremely nice. Once I booked through Expedia I received a very nice response thanking me for selecting their hotel and to please reach out if I had any questions prior to arriving. I thought that that was very nice in the day and age where a little bit of personal attention is lacking. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room and I am a huge coffee drinker”

“We loved our room had the ocean view and the updates are great. The floor was dirty it had hair all over we asked for a broom to clean it. Then the first night they gave someone a key to our room and told them it was there room. Not sure how that happened. Then the following night a worker came banged on the door and just opened our door and told us we are not to be in that room. He was very rude!! I showed him the key card that we were given and he said he would be back. I went to the desk and...

“This hotel is probably the best I’ve stayed at. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, steam room. They also have a restaurant with entertainment. We were there on probably the last hot day in October (85 degrees). They had a poolside bar as well. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this one here was by far the best. We paid a decent price being as though the seasons changed. I’m hoping to be able to book something this summer. Definitely 5 stars from me.”

“This is the first time that I've ever stayed here and considering the Nor'easter that just occurred a couple weeks ago... I wasn't sure what to expect. Everything was spot on and the staff was super courteous and the rooms were perfect and I would highly recommend this property to people that are traveling to Wildwood.”

“This resort hotel is gorgeous! Thought all the amenities (onsite restaurant, beach club, hot tub) would be open until end of October - but it was all shut down (restaurant only open Th-Su) when I visited this week. Either way, ICONA is iconic! Will def be back...just during the season.”

“The owners were very friendly and helpful. It was a great location. On site parking. I had a great stay.”

“The parking was tight, shower was oddly accessible and shower head was not good.”

“Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in October during off season. The hotel still had an open heated pool and a driver/shuttle to bring you to and from the hotel and areas around town. John was a great driver who was very knowledgeable about the area and gave good recommendations. Though they offer the shuttle service, main parts of town are very close to the hotel and could even be walked to. They let us check in early which was a great bonus. Harry’s bar and grill...
