“Horrible smelling hallways, musty, mildewy. Awful room smell. Bubbling peeling wallpaper, moldy jet tub, wouldn't even use it. Terrible lumpy mattress, unusable pillows; sheet-like blanket. Never got the requested wake-up calls. Trash all around the parking lot, overflowing receptacles. Rusted out vehicles with months old flat tires. Won't stay there again ever. Won't look for Best Western again, anywhere.”

“We stay at Quality Inn at Eldridge, IA every spring. The hotel is always clean, staff is friendly, everything you need as far as groceries, fuel, places to eat are close by. The hotel is always quiet and the breakfast is good also. Highly recommended staying at this hotel!”

The pillowcases looked worn and stained, the carpet felt dirty, and several of the bed linens were torn. The bathroom was especially disappointing. The shower had visible rust, and the water never became more than lukewarm.
