“Wonderful, restored art deco hotel with standard amenities and wonderful staff. Special thanks to Paolo for all his help in arranging transport to Tofo given the political protests. FYI, the hotel is some distance from the main town and ATMs - perhaps 30 minute walk. But the main boat tour operators to Bazaruto will pick you up on the beach in front of the hotel.”

Highlight was enjoying breakfast on the terrace, taking in the morning seascape. “My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Casa Babi and we loved every second of it. Sabrina and staff are the best hosts. They picked us up at the airport, helped with delayed luggage, arranged trips and fixed transportation to our next destination. On top of that, their kitchen is amazing. Great breakfast, lunches and dinners. The view to the ocean and the continuous winds are spectacular. If it gets too hot you can jump in the pool. Top, top experience. ”

“Casa Babi is a lovely guest house and great base for enjoying the Bazaruto Archipelago! The couple who runs the guest house and extremely welcoming and helpful - and there’s a dive shop just next door. Hope to stay again!”

“Villas do Indico was everything I hoped: quiet, relaxed, good food, in a beautiful location. However, you should note that the hotel is 8km from town. I was happy to run/walk along deserted beaches most days to get to town/kite surfing. I then took a ride back. If you are taking rides both ways -- which are charged at around US$20 -- you will run up a substantial transport bill. You have to travel in a 4*4 as the last 3km are unpaved/sand. You can do this cheaper on the back of a motorbike but...

“It is our first visit to Mozambique. Linda helped us with every step from getting paperwork for the visa, airport pickup, ATM, groceries, tours. Baobab beach is a gorgeous tree park with excellent dining is within walking distance. Odyssea Dive offers great diving and tours. If you want to feel at home in Mozambique, look no further. ”

“Al momento della prenotazione le foto della struttura erano completamente diverse da quello che abbiamo trovato. Da una struttura tipica con stanze a capanna abbiamo soggiornato in bungalows in muratura completamente nuovi ma impersonali. Il contorno tenuto bene e carino. Cosa gravissima mi è stato rubato un costume dentro la valigia in camera e per questo ho ricevuto soltanto delle scuse da parte del ragazzo della reception e non dalla direzione. E' stata una vera violazione della privacy.”
