“Loved the location of this hotel. Easy to walk to breakfast, dinner, sites and shopping. Loved the rocking chair front porch. The room was very nice. We got a king sized bed and it was very comfortable. Good use of space in a small room but plenty of room to move. Loved having a refrigerator. Get desserts across the street at the carriage house! Liked that this hotel was at the end of the street. Keep in mind, the horse “waste” smell can be intense whenever you walk the Main Street. Inside the...

“Clean and cozy! Loved the vibe inside, plus totally walkable to the main strip, Shepler’s ferry, and any of the local restaurants. Check-in/out was remote too, no hassle or worry at any point. Price is super fair for a simple little place to stay!”

“Old motor lodge that has been updated. Its clean, basic motel. Tight.parking but plenty of it. Pool and hot tub worked as promised. Friendly dog at the desk too!”

“Shower handle was broken off. Cobwebs in bathroom corners. Water was plumbed backwards on sink. Hot Water took many minutes to reach room. Font desk was only staffed 9am - 9pm.”

“Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat.”

“Very nice staff, pool and hot pool, perfect location and size of the cabin! The only thing is the cleanness- they should dust and wipe a little more. And the picnic area has only one table with bench, nothing more. I would expect couple of them and some kind of grill or fire pit, but nothing there. Other than that: great”

“If you need a place to lay your head…not too terrible. Theres a Walmart, a cute coffee shop and good restaurants. But if you’re looking for quality, cleanliness or the feeling of privacy, it’s not great. Staff was helpful though. ”

“It was a great place to stay and so well decorated. I used the fair themed reading nook and it was so peaceful and relaxing! I loved having hot water and coffer accessible 24/7.”

“Room was okay, comfortable beds and beautiful view. Breakfast was ridiculous! Tiny room and not well supplied. The worst was that the advertised hot tub was closed (for maintenance) and I had to chosen this place with a hot tub as high priority”

“Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again.”
