“This hotel was very very nice, it was within walking distance of main street and all of the things to do with mayberry days, the staff was extremely friendly, and everything In the hotel was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Very overpriced for an outdated very worn and unwelcoming room, bathroom was very small, the tub was chipped black wear marks on the floor, this property needs an overhaul, and the free breakfast is very limited with little seating. Disappointing stay.”

“Surry Inn is a basic motel. Upon arrival we checked in via a small walk up window. There is no lobby. The room was in fairly good condition. However, the plug to the a/c wall/floor unit kept coming out of the the electric outlet when were trying to start the air conditioning unit. My husband was able to finally get the cord to stay in the outlet. The furniture, bed and floor and curtains were in good condition. “Pilot Mountain Glamping Resort was a great weekend retreat for my fiancé’s birthday. Great location. We hiked at Hanging Rock State Park. We really enjoyed the deck with the Blackstone Griddle and fire pit. We had pancakes and bacon off the griddle for breakfast one morning, and hotdogs for dinner one night. S’mores later that evening over the fire pit topped off a great day. Jack was responsive to the only issue we raised and it was quickly resolved.”
