“The staff people were great. The food at the restaurant was great, the drinks even better. It's like staying at the pub in the Cotswalds country side, which was cool. Unfortunately, the rooms left a lot to be desired, especially at the price charged. “The restaurants are not that great. Most don’t do breakfast. I wouldn’t mind paying a high price but it needs to be good. The resorts are geared towards young people & that’s great. However, as a senior citizen resorts don’t offer much. I would like clear walking trails with no rocks as seniors have difficulty maneuvering rough terrain. We’re not dead yet & want to experience our beautiful country.”

“The virtual assistance at the front desk was extremely rude - stating she was super busy and will get to help us when she can. Our plug stopped working so microwave and toaster didn’t work. We had no internet thought the storm was over. No priorities and cleaners never came. Basically, it’s a fend do yourself type of place - good luck is anything happens someone will come help you. ”

“Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. ”
