“Had a great time and the view was beautiful!”

“The husband and wife that own it were very friendly, didn't bother you, but were available if you needed them. The breakfast was fenomenal. Check in and out was easy. The house was beautiful and the decor was relevant to the period of the home. I would highly recommend staying.”

“Would have liked to have talked to someone at some at some point. I always ask about places to see, points of interest, local hikes, etc. Also, an ice machine in the office would be a great addition. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing.”

“Beautiful setting! Unique property Rustic yet sophisticated. Food is outstanding Music on the porch on Sundays is wonderful”

“Staff was very polite and answered all questions I had. It was nice to have breakfast at the lodge and not have to rush to go somewhere.”

“Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.”

“Das Zimmer war groß. Ein Teil der Ausstattung müsste einmal gründlich gereinigt oder renoviert werden zum Beispiel die Teppiche. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.”

“The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean. My biggest issue was the breakfast. We like to stay somewhere that has a decent breakfast so we don’t have to stop first thing in the morning. They had juice/coffee, boiled eggs, microwaveable sausage biscuits, muffins, pre sliced bagels. They also had a waffle machine. The first day was ok, we ate what they had and it served the purpose. The second day the microwave was broke and the waffle mix was so thin that it was just burning and not filling...

“Nice staff and clean room”

“Very clean.”

“Convenient location to downtown Boone. Close to App St University too! Spectacular room. Clean and updated. Unfortunately it rained that weekend and we didn't get to enjoy the rooftop lounge. The breakfast was delicious. Make sure you try a pastry from Stick Boys.”

“Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.”

“Such a cute renovation and close to town, walkable to many places and campus of App State. The restaurant attached was very good! Only complaint was we were out in a room and the balcony overlooked the roof, seemed to be plenty of other rooms with a better view. Not a huge deal and would definitely stay here again.”

“Fantastic hotel!! Just close enough to busy Boone but still far enough away to showcase the quiet, peacefulness of this beautiful area.”
