Good points - rooms are nice, breakfast is good. You feel secure. Nice vibe, fire pit is great and there is a nice restaurant you can walk up to called the "tuson son".
Bad points - if you come off the freeway it's a bit unsavoury, go with it - it gets better near the hotel and then beyond. No lift but staff will take cases up if required. Minor points, don't let that put you off.
Overall - 100% would stay here again, does what it says on the tin. It's a great concept! Well done...

“I showed up at the Royal Palace with my back completely thrown out while on a solo roadtrip and was very moved by the staff's kindness. They helped me get into my room early so I could lie down, and when it unexpectedly got much worse they helped me extend my stay and even brought me a fork when my food delivery was missing one! I will absolutely be back and especially recommend the Royal Palace to anyone dealing with medical stuff or disabilities. They were so understanding and nice which made...

“This is a classic 5 star hotel in an elegant part of LA, near the Westwood Century Mall which has an array of high-end stores and restaurants. The rooms are huge and beautifully furnished, service is at the level expected for such a place, the bar and restaurant are excellent, but notably pricy. The building itself is very impressive and every aspect of the place is designed to pamper the guests. A true splurge hotel.”

“in generale confortevole. Purtroppo a causa di lavori di ristrutturazione la recepito e la sala per la prima colazione erano molto sacrificate.Sapevamo che il lavori dovevano finire prima di Natale, ma non ci e' stato comunicato nulla. Il personale al parcheggio molto gentile e disponibile.”

“Ottima Hotel nuovo e pulito, il personale è stato cordialissimo, in particolare la signora Bichi per la sua simpatia e competenza, grazie.
Noi abbiamo avuto un loft non ci sono parole per descriverlo...era bellissimo!
Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, i rumori esterni di notte, facevano dei lavori.
Proprio difronte c'è un supermercato, perfetto per rifornirsi. Consiglio di sicuro questo hotel.”

"Good hotel in a central and safe area, just steps from Beverly Hills. We requested a room change and were accommodated immediately. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, as was the valet, who was very courteous. The hotel itself is somewhat dated; our suite was very large and almost too spacious, with a lot of empty areas. The TVs were quite old, but the beds were very comfortable. The rooms with balconies were a bit noisy, as they all face the main street, but nothing too bothersome."
