“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“Very nice country House. Quiet location. Close to Tollymore Park. Big upstairs bedrooms with nice showers. Lot of space for big family. Only downside in cleaning - spiderwebs and spiders on ceilings. ”

“Great wee place. Nice and quiet and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Host was very kind in leaving local food and a bit of milk to get you going ( great idea for a cup of tea). Also has a chap of the door where I kind man gave me half a dozen fresh eggs. They were lovely and the eggs looked like what I used to see as a kid- white, brown and light blue. “Was not sure what to expect as last minute decision to stay but we were very happy with the tucked away room we got. Lovely fit out / safe etc pub food was really appreciated as well. Would stay at again.”

“Overall a good experience but we had to change room in the middle of the nigth. Nothing to complain about the first but around midnight we discovered that the hotel also has a music bar and the room was just above it. We complained and were moved to another room. So happy end despite of the inconvenience. Since music is made every week end, it would be nice not to give out those rooms when others are available. Everything else was good: cleanliness, breakfast, parking.”

“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

“Lovely apartment. We had a really nice few days here. No allocated parking, but we never had a problem finding a space close by. Good to have a shop so close (literally under our feet.) Facilities were good; enough kitchen utensils, pans, etc. that we could cook meals with no problems. Nice bathroom and excellent lounge area. Seating area and space outside as well if the weather permits. Nice area to walk around as well, with harbour and coast very close by. The location is a bit off the beaten...
