Cottage a Cessnock

“We stayed here for one night at the weekend with my baby girl, husband and 2 couple friends. The house was amply spaced for the 7 of us, it had everything we needed including oil, coffee, a lovely selection of tea. It’s the perfect comfortable base to the hunter region. I cannot recommend this place enough. To top it off, communication with Jodie the host was quick, easy and hassle free- overall a great experience and we’ll cherish forever.”

“RidgeView is in a very quiet location, surrounded by bush and vineyards. This is the perfect place to escape the business of life and relax among the trees with a glass of wine. Our kids enjoyed the pool, which surprisingly was a decent size.”

“This is the second time in 2 years that we have stayed here, it is so central to the vineyards whilst also being off the main roads of Cessnock, the hosts accommodate people travelling with their dog, the house is well set up, there is a lovely outdoor area, safe yard for dog with a safe indoor area for a dog to stay in also, we enjoy it here and will return again next year!”

“Good little property that is tucked away behind the vineyards in the Hunter with friendly horses on the property. They did not look like Clydesdales though. Good out door area for dogs to run and play and enclosed indoor dining area as shelter from the rain. The decor and property was a bit dated and lacked enough kitchen ware for the number of guests we booked for. If the property is updated a bit more, we would certainly return on a regular basis as the location suited our liking.”

“Would definitely recommend Lonely Goat Olives for a farm stay experience in the Hunter Valley. We had a fantastic time soaking in the views, catching fish and roasting marshmallows on the fire. Kids didn't want to leave.”

“Absolutely loved our stay! Great views, breathtaking sunsets as we sipped our wine and sat around the fire playing boardgames. My furbaby was in absolute heaven. A tiny recommendation would be to upgrade tech like TV, get new movie titles, provide wifi and a basic welcome basket maybe. Other than that, the hosts were so easy to communicate with and helpful. “It all went well, apart from the way the extra cost for having a pet was revealed - felt like it was done slightly underhand. No reflection on the owner, was not his fault. But the home itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed, was nice to have breakfast included”
