“This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside....

“Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet - mit allem was man braucht (Waschmaschine, Küchenausstattung, Elektrogeräte) und war bei unserer Ankunft in tadellosem Zustand. Die Betten sind gut und nicht durchgelegen. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Es gibt sehr schnelles, stabiles WLAN mit hohem Durchsatz (wichtig für Deutsches Fernsehen über z. B. Amazon FireStick). Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und reagiert umgehend auf Anfragen. Kleine Sonderwünsche waren kein Problem. Vom Bahnhof Compiegne kommt...
