“Giving an opinion on a hotel in London is always difficult, considering the average prices of hotels, especially those in central areas. The structure in question is a fairly old building, completely renovated internally, apart from the slightly vintage wooden stairs which evidently date back to the original structure. “Appalling experience - turned up after a full day to be told there was no access to the property and could I go to Aldgate instead. The booking was made specifically due to proximity to an event the next day. Had to get another room nearby at short notice for a lot more money. Would not trust booking with them again and would advise people to choose another option.”

“I don't why hotels staff usually stick the the bare minimum. I arrived at 1pm, and apparently no rooms were ready before 3pm (really? on a Tuesday?). I was given a room for which you have to take the lift AND the stairs; I asked to change with a room accessible by lift only. I was given the smallest room they had (I saw it from the emergency map). If you are not full, why not given to your guest the best service you can, rather than the minimum? I will unlikely come back here.”

“Didn't end up staying here due to the heatwave and the property's lack of air conditioning, but have some thoughts on the little time spent here: We booked this as the listing made it look like a lovely, modern place to stay, but upon arrival was a little put off. We arrived at night after a late flight and there's no Zozy Gladstone signage so took a minute to figure out if it was the actual place as it's just on a residential street, and first impressions of the place were honestly a little...

“Stayed in the lovely en-suite room, which was nice, large and clean! Bed was quite comfortable. Bath was very modern. Only things to be informed about is no A/C (typical in non-corporate hotels!), may have missed the little tidbit of info on their webpage, but room had fan, which we put in window and had cool nights eventually. Shower is modern, but VERY small. Ultimately, I recommend the Nap Inn as a unique European stay!”
