Just a few minutes' walk from the train station, you'll discover "La Maison des Pauls," a magnificent family home that Corine and Philippe have recently completely renovated to create the perfect vacation spot!
The interiors are warm, modern, and comfortable, with thoughtful decor, including restored antiques that blend perfectly with more modern materials!
New for reservations made from October 17, 2025, an outbuilding completes the accommodation's capacity. A small house next to the pool has just been converted into a bedroom for 2 people with a shower and toilet.
Outside, you'll have the chance to enjoy a beautiful swimming pool and shaded relaxation areas in the heart of a wooded and fully enclosed park!

On-site: Discover the landscapes of the Loire Valley and the pretty village of Chamalières-sur-Loire, with its bakery, grocery store, and 4 restaurants.
For outdoor activities, there's a canoeing/ziplining center on site.

A few minutes away, you can try your hand at the various water sports offered in the village of Retournac, visit the Lace Museum, or even the Château d'Artias.

A little further afield: Explore the entire Haute-Loire region and discover its rich architectural and cultural heritage: the town of Le Puy-en-Velay with its famous UNESCO World Heritage Site buildings, Arlempdes, one of the most beautiful villages in France, and its castle overlooking the young Loire River, the lakes of the volcanic plateau, and the Meygal forest. With private parking in front of the house, the cottage and its outdoor spaces are accessible via a staircase leading to the property (not suitable for people with reduced mobility).

The entrance to the house is through the living area, which consists of a kitchen and a large living room. A beautiful living room opening onto a terrace completes this floor.

On the first floor of the house, accessible from a staircase in the living room, are two double bedrooms and a first bathroom.
Also on the first floor, but accessible from a staircase in the living room, are two more double bedrooms and a new bathroom.
Finally, on the second floor, you will discover a dormitory for four people and a third bathroom.

Outdoors: The upper part of the property is fully fenced and planted with trees, with several relaxation areas set up in the shade of the many trees. You will find various trees and vines throughout the property. Finally, at the far end of the property, you will enjoy an 11-meter-long swimming pool, secured by an alarm system (Please note: alarm management is the responsibility of the occupants of the cottage).

The accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the train station.
Shops are close by, including a bakery and restaurants in the village center.
Other shops are a 5-minute drive away (in the town of Retournac).
