We were very happy with Southwood House! Clean, well-maintained, and in a great location! Everything worked as it should, and check in/check out was a breeze! Karen, our host, was very kind and patient, and was super responsive! We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it (and Karen) to anyone visiting Champaign-Urbana!

Excellent place to stay!

This was my first Vrbo booking and I am shocked at how wonderful this property was. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood, with easy access to every part of Champaign and Urbana. The house was clean, extremely spacious and full of extra amenities including a large extra dining/gathering area off the kitchen, an enclosed patio room and multiple streaming services on the tv's. The host was quick to respond before my arrival and prompt with check in and check out instructions. I will definitely try to use the property in the future.

Came for U of I commencement. House provided adequate space and our stay was fine. Somewhat disappointed in lack of care given to the yard. Would have wanted to spend more time outside. Overall our stay was good.

Trip down memory lane

We had a wonderful stay with my sister and dad. He wanted to come back to Champaign one more time since he was born and raised here. The house was a perfect location to everything. The owner was so nice and responded quickly to any questions we had! If we ever went back, we would definitely stay here again!

Nice little house

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The house was clean with plenty of space. There were a couple items missing to complete the kitchen such as a colander and baking sheet, but these are easily fixable. The location is great, not too far away from campus and in a relatively quiet neighborhood. I recommend to anyone needing a place in the area.
