“The decor in reception was a little dated but the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming.l and helpful. The rooms we had booked were nice and comfortable and clean. We ate in the restaurant and really enjoyed the food. Breakfast had a good choice of hot food.”

“We stayed at the barn for a 3 night stopover on the way to Cornwall Heather and Angus are very welcoming as are their 2 lovely dogs Pip and MabelThe hamlet of Chaffcombe is very pretty and we had a peaceful and relaxing time sitting in the wonderful private garden belonging to the property. We felt quite remote,which we like, but within easy reach of Sidmouth and Ford Abbey gardens which we visited Burrow Hill gardens is also nearby and worth a visit -amazing views”
