“I stayed 2 nights at Stéfan's place at the beginning of a bicycle trip. The location is ideal; easy to reach from Blois, but remote enough to be quiet and tranquil.I spent a day shopping, riding to Cheverny where I had a picnic on the grounds of the chateau, and back to Vineuil. On the way I stopped at the coop degustation center for Cour Cheverny. “We went there in the middle of the heat wave in France. It was absolutely impossible to stay there given the heat and the absence of air conditioning. The owner was unwilling to compromise despite the impossibility to stay in the Logis d’Ambacia. Maybe the experience is better when it’s not the summer months, but I would avoid renting the place over hot summer days. Otherwise nice location and nice apartment.”
