Hotel a Charleston

“Hotel is beat up on the outside. Staff in not friendly or accommodating ”

“The hotel needs a renovation. For the price I didn’t expect much, but it feels neglected.”

“Rooms are very nice and clean, the staff was very friendly, many choices at breakfast, and parking is nice wherever your room is located. This is our go to hotel when we travel to Cape Girardeau. ”

“This is an Older property that has been renovated. Was ok for one night stay. Pros: close to Cracker Barrel and other retail stores Cons: smokers sitting at entrance making second hand smoke unavoidable, questionable activity in the parking lot, clientele less than stellar As a solo female traveler, I can’t recommend this properly ”

“The room was somewhat clean, but that’s the best I can say. The door from outside to the hallway didn’t lock or even close all the way. No staff and the office closed 11pm-5am. Sketchy part of town. No eateries close by. I would not recommend. Didn’t feel safe but we were exhausted so we stayed.”

“Quick and friendly check where they offered us bottles of water. They added a lounge/bar that is very convenient. The outside lounge are is very nice as well. Room is clean with a comfortable bed and 2 different styles of pillows. Which is nice considering most hotels give you one kind of pillow and it is not great. ”

“The floor in the room was dirty. It needed sweeping. There was a large ball of human hair on the floor near the bed. The bed spread had 2 red stains on the cover. The sink in the bathroom had a defective stopper. The cover control rod was not working. To flush the toilet, you had to continuously hold down the handle until the water ran out. The deadbolt on the door does not work. It would not engage/out of alignment. Other than that, the room was good. This is room 210. James Ramsey”
