“Stayed a night at Charlesvoix House (Northside) on our way to a family funeral in Sault Ste Marie. This pretty town is walkable and worth a stopover. Writing this review to thank our host Terry. She reminded us of the treasures we had discovered at many bed and breakfasts in our travels in the 80s and 90s, before the days of airbnbs and sterile Wyndhams. She shared insights of the town including the story behind the 380 potted flower decorations on the town roads. She cooked muffins with fresh...

“What a perfectly quaint and serene B&B. Jean and Dave have truly created a masterpiece to clear the mind and enjoy a special getaway with your significant other. The grounds were a gardener’s paradise and our room was so cozy we felt like it was home. It was triangulated between Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Boyne City - perfect location. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you won’t regret it!”
