The property was located on a small quiet peaceful lake. The grounds were well kept and there was a nice area with a firepit to sit and enjoy the wooded area that surrounds it. The property was a unique shape that was clean and well maintained. Windows in the open floor plan of the cabin allowed you to enjoy the view of the lake from the kitchen table as you enjoyed your meals. My one main complaint was the strong sulphuric smell that came from the water faucets in both the bathroom and kitchen area. This was especially true when you ran the hot water to shower and wash dishes, etc in the kitchen. The smell left the rooms smelling strongly of rotten eggs that lingered for quite a while and was certainly off putting. Because we were there in the fall when the weather was starting to be cooler just opening the windows was not an option. Other than that, it was a very lovely property.

What a beautiful location just a few minutes from Charlevoix! We were a little hesitant as the property had no reviews yet, but we're glad we took the chance. It was the perfect retreat while visiting the coastal towns of Lake Michigan and enjoying the autumn weather and foliage. It appears just as depicted in the photos and was clean and comfortable. We really loved having the use of the fire pit with an ample supply of firewood in the evenings, and our daughters enjoyed adventuring out into the scenic lake in the canoes and rowboat. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!
