“The description was accurate as far as the view but the information stated there was sleeping accommodations for six which leads you to believe there was one bedroom with one bed and a second with two beds but there was only one bed in each bedroom. So having only two beds limited it to sleeping four people and no portable bed or pullout bed available on the property.”

“The place itself looks fine on line (you pay for what you get and this is an economical price point), but it is almost impossible to find- even with GPS- could be an island issue- but once you get to the general vicinity the area is NOT what one would expect. If you are from out of town you want to feel safe- the neighborhood did not give any sense of safety- and I am from a large city. I am sure the place itself is cute; just be sure to look into the area first especially if you are not used to...

“The Mermaid’s Pearl was a comfortable fit for my son (19) and me. It is located in a quiet complex with a beautiful view from the balcony. The studio is a perfect size for two people and was very clean. We enjoyed the local restaurant (Sudi’s) and the pool just outside the front door, as well as the short walk to the Safire Beach complex (local coffee shop and eateries on the beach). We also walked into Red Hook which took about 20 minutes. Red Hook is small but has plenty of little shops and...
