I wish I could leave a better review, however, this rental turned out to be disappointing. I chose this property specifically for the amenities that looked ideal for our family vacation. Our week included a family dinner & a surprise proposal, so the venue seemed perfect for that. I confirmed in advance that all amenities listed were included in our week-long stay. Each time we attempted to use different parts of the property, the host claimed there were additional charges for access or equipment—something that had not been communicated beforehand. The property itself would have been more appealing if the yard had been mowed recently. We gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming weather may have impacted lawn service. From the day we arrived, we also had issues with the air conditioning. It took several calls to the host and his repair team before the AC was working again. We went 4 days without AC upstairs and had to purchase extra fans to make the bedrooms bearable. In addition, the washing machine was unusable due to a broken locking mechanism. The host did repair it after a couple of days, but then proceeded to blame us for breaking it—suggesting we didn’t know how to use it properly, which was both inaccurate and frustrating. Despite the multiple inconveniences, the only compensation offered was a discount for future bookings! As of now, we still haven’t received the refund agreed upon. Sadly, I cannot recommend this property for a family vacation.

If you want to be left alone this is not the place.

If you want to get left alone this is not the place to stay. Booked this place from 4-1 to 4-23 for myself and coworkers on 2-17. Revived a message from the host on 3-21 saying he needed to talk with me. Talked with the host and he asked me if he could use the basement of the house and the back yard for a festival or something of that nature on 4-5. I informed him that we were working night shift and sleeping during the day and that wouldn’t be feasible. He said he understood. Then on 3-31 less than 24 hours notice before checking in. He sent me a message saying that if we had extra people it would be a extra 25 per person per day charge and if we ran up the power bill above a certain amount that I was expected to pay the extra because he had a problem with a previous guest and a high power bill of 900. No one extra stayed and I’m not trying to run up anyone’s power bill. When we arrive the dryer is full of bed linen’s and towels (clean). The air filters for AC unit returns are so stopped up they are sucking in to the return ducts. So I go buy two new filters and change them ( this probably explains the 900 power bill he had with “previous guest”). On 4-4 I receive a message saying he wants to plant flowers at the house. Told him anytime after 5PM would be fine. Then another message that the grass cutting guy is coming over on 4-15 (I understood this one) but still woke us up at around 9AM when we were sleeping.
