Con una favolosa spiaggia appena fuori dalla porta ti piacerà la vista sul lungomare del bellissimo Hood Canal. Questa casa sulla spiaggia classica è immersa sulla riva dove è possibile lanciare il vostro kayak o piccole imbarcazioni, o semplicemente rilassarsi e guardare le maree mutevoli. Convenientemente situato vicino alla piccola città di Hoodsport WA dove troverete negozi, ristoranti, drogheria, degustazione di vini, tutto il necessario. Un sogno dell'avventuriero esterno dove si può godere delle escursioni nelle montagne olimpiche, o la pesca, il kayak e le immersioni nel Canale Hood.

All'aperto
Il lato dell'acqua della casa dispone di un ampio patio, tavolo da picnic e sedie a sdraio. La casa è così vicina all'acqua, è perfetta per lanciare kayak o piccole imbarcazioni. La spiaggia spettacolare rende l'esperienza perfetta per le vacanze sul lungomare.

Cucina e pranzo
La cucina ha un sacco di spazio contatore per preparare la bontà del cancello Hood. Comprende un frigorifero, piano cottura / forno, lavastoviglie, forno a microonde. Tutto quello che ti serve è la generi alimentari. La zona pranzo, se si sceglie di mangiare all'interno, dispone di quattro sedie e cattura tutte le viste mozzafiato. Fuori la cucina è più immagazzinaggio e una rondella / asciugatrice impilata.

La zona giorno ha un sacco di posti a sedere con un comodo recliner e un ottimo divano, due ulteriori comodi sedie e un sedile di amore adatto. La pavimentazione in legno ha tappeti accentati per accogliere comodi serate. Grandi finestre creano questa zona aperta con le viste spettacolari sulla tua spiaggia.

Camere da letto
Giù la hall conduce a due camere da letto. Uno ha un letto matrimoniale e l'altro con 2 letti singoli. Sarai pronto per un buon riposo notturno dopo una giornata di divertimento in spiaggia.

Bagno
Il bagno in questa casa è nuovo, pulito e luminoso e presenta una bella doccia (senza vasca).

Il Canal Hood è molto ricercato per i suoi molluschi abbondanti e le acque calde e limpide. La piccola Red Beach House si trova appena fuori dalla storica Highway 101 sul bordo dell'acqua che gli permette di catturare viste espansive del sud, del nord e dell'est del Canale Hood. La Beach House si trova a soli due + ore da Seattle e vicino alla Foresta Nazionale Olimpica e al Parco Nazionale Olimpico. Una grande destinazione e il pad di lancio per tutte le vostre avventure di Penisola Olimpica!

The property was well maintained, outfitted and clean. It was located near all the hikes we planned on our trip as well as close to a few restaurants and shops. We did not take advantage of the kitchen this trip but noted the abundance of equipment and appliances for any future stay. The waterfront was beautiful and relaxing. The clouds parted in the evening so we were able to do some star gazing and enjoy the meteor shower too from the backyard.

Good details of how to get there from the property manager prior to arrival. Quaint little beach house, perfect location for daily jaunts into the Olympic National Park and other surrounding areas. Comfortable beds, air conditioning unit and fans in each bedroom to help cool the spaces off in the evening. Well maintained and clean. Wish we could have stayed for a few more days.

We had a wonderful weekend at this little cottage on the Hood Canal. The house was as pictured and had everything we needed. The view is amazing, and we loved foraging for our dinner. There are plenty of oysters and clams to reach your limits quickly and have an amazingly fresh meal. The next door neighbors were super friendly and gave us some good tips on the oysters and clams. We were traveling with our nearly 5 year old who had a blast in the beach.

The yard had a beautiful view of Hood Canal and there was easy access to the beach for launching my kayak. Inside the house most of the view was taken up by the rhododendron bush. I highly recommend cutting it down. The queen bed was rather soft and sloped to the center. There were lots of pots, pans, and utensils but they all needed to be replaced. Very junky drawers and hard to find what you needed if doing a lot of cooking like we did. I would recommend the owners spending a long weekend replacing and repairing items in/outside the house that were dated or not working, like lamps, beds, and kitchen items. It had a wood burning stove. You would need to provide your own wood.

My family and I stayed here for three nights as part of a trip to Olympic National Park. The house is right on the Hood Canal and is beautifully decorated with mid-century modern furniture. There's tools out back for if you want to hunt for clams or oysters (make sure you purchase a license). I could sit out in the backyard all afternoon. The house is about 5 minutes from downtown Hoodsport and about half an hour to the Staircase entrance of Olympic National Park and Lake Cushman. You can also walk to The Tides Restaurant, which I highly recommend.

This place was a great place to stay on Hood Canal. Right on the water you can just sit in an easy chair and watch the tide go in and out, go kayak in lakes nearby or in the Canal, or hike in one of the nearby trails. The House was very clean and well appointed. We would like to return someday, had a great time.

My family and I loved our stay here. It reminded so much of my grandmother’s home. The view and beach access was just wonderful. We were really just able to relax and unwind while our kids enjoyed the beach and ocean. We even swam a bit as a family. We made sure to follow all the rules about harvesting clams and made amazing homemade clam chowder. It was very clean and comfortable for all of us! Also, my son left his stuffed octopus there on accident and the property managers sent it home no charge to him. They even addressed it with the stuffy’s name. We are hoping to return!

The location was excellent - allowed us to explore the local area. The view was every bit as good as the pictures. Unfortunately the main bed was so uncomfortable we couldn't complete our stay and left early. Lesser issues were the bed and bathroom linens - they were clean but clearly older. My recommendations is new beds and new linens - we would have enjoyed the experience more if these issues were corrected

What a beautiful place to stay you don’t even hear the road. Cleanest place I have stayed since covid. Host was amazing and made me feel welcome. If you want somewhere to unwind this is the place. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews yes it is an older house with quirky things but that’s what makes it feel like home. I will definitely be back again. Thanks to Windermere for having such a wonderful rental

Loved the area and the view. but there are updates needed. Specifically the kitchen utensils, the drawers were dangerous as there were too many big knives thrown in with utensils creating a potential injury. Need better organizationand get rid of the really old items. The lamps are very poor quality. One shade had many cracks. There are only a few windows that can open which made the place very stuffy. Double bed too soft and my husband slept on the futon couch. I slept on the small sofa due to stuffy bedroom. Nicely updated bathroom but 1 ply toilet paper is just cheap and unacceptable. Towels are thin and the extra charge for using more than 2 trash bags is insulting. We cook and therefore we have garbage. Overall a little disappointing.

Clean cabin with a great view. Word of warning for others used to air conditioning. There is none! Not uncommon in this part of the country, but the house gets hot and not many windows open making for a warm night of sleeping. We used box fans near an open window to help at night. The queen bed mattress needs to be replaced, the twin bed mattresses were in better shape.

The view is gorgeous, and house was very clean. We also found out history of house, and it is so sweet. But house has no A/C, no internet, and no cable. It is also directly on hwy 101. Like a few feet. Most of the windows do not open, so not a lot of air flow. We could not leave open any of the doors, as none of them have a screen door. As sweet as the history of house is, we would not stay here again, nor would we recommend. If the owner could put screen doors in, and change a couple windows to let air in that would be a big improvement.

My husband and I and are two kids stayed here for spring break. The views are gorgeous and hearing the water is very relaxing. My kids are 6 and 9 and understand water safety so it wasn't a problem. The fence however would not stop younger kids from falling to the shore below so fyi. Plenty of amenities but bring shampoo, conditioner and body wash for showers. No wifi but phones worked fine. No cable either so be sure to bring your own dvds, there is not many kids dvds available. My husband brought a kyack and was able to use it in the morning when the water wasn't rough. The house was extremely clean when we came in. I felt the cleaners did a perfect job. If you make your way into town there is a coffee and ice cream place that's outside (everyone is masked) that is amazing! My girls loved going jn the evening for a little treat. Definitely want to go back!

We really enjoyed our relaxing, short stay at the little red house. It’s hard to say what we enjoyed most: the charming, vintage decor, the relaxing view, or the proximity to a beautiful hike. It would be great to come back and stay a little longer!

This home was very easy to find and to get inside. Though the home is quite dated both my husband and I were VERY impressed with how clean the home was. The furniture in the living room was comfortable. We used mostly the rocker and recliner and wished they looked out at the amazing view ore directly. We only used the queen bed. It was comfortable but soft. The kitchen wasn’t as well appointed as we are used too and felt that a few more baking dishes and maybe a cookie sheet or two would be a nice addition. The wood burning fire place is beautiful although we didn’t use it. We were uncertain about it as there were no directions or discussion about proper maintenance in the instruction. Just an FYI almost all of the outlets in the home are two prong with the exception of one in the kitchen and bathroom. The guest book was well appointed with information about the beach use and the local area including several hikes in the area. Many they choose I know are amazing. Also we think it is important to note that white there is no WIFI at the home we had no trouble with cell service. Over all the home was exactly what we needed to unwind and relax. We would both recommend the home to you.
