"Great house with plenty of space - open plan downstairs works very well and all of the bedrooms are a good size. Comfortable an clean and a good base for exploring the island. Good boulangerie and a fantastic market every day within 5 minutes walk of the house. Wonderful fish and plentiful fruit and cheese."

"The house is excellently equipped and was very clean, was very clean and is in a quiet environment. The local rental agency was very friendly and helpful. La Rochelle is a city worth visiting and is only a few kilometers away. By bike it was about 8 km. In the neighboring town of Châtelaillon-Plage there is a very large sandy beach. We were very happy here and would come again at any time."

"we had an excellent week with Olivier and Nathalie who were friendly and understanding. the gite was the only one on the site and was connected to the hosts main house. we shared a pool with the hosts and were able to have swim every day. the gite was advertised for up to 5 persons but there was only two of us so loads of space. nice big rooms (for 2) and a decent fridge and freezer. great location for exploring Niort and La Rochelle plus the local area"

"We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. It served a purpose and the bottles of water and sweets were a nice touch. "

"Lovely stay. We were only here one night so the location was perfect as we were able to walk to most of the sites and make the most of our short time there. Room was very comfortable and parking was convenient and easy to find with the instructions provided. "
