We had a wonderful stay at Captain’s Inn! We were welcomed with a text message before we even arrived, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and to ensure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival and early departure.

The property was gorgeous and our hosts were so nice. It was freezing out and our room had a fireplace which was a huge plus in warning me up! The breakfast menu had so many options, I couldn’t decide! My husband and I both loved what we ordered. It was really delicious. I would highly recommend this B & B!

Convenient location but beautiful grounds and lovely main house. Pretty breakfast room overlooking gardens. Large cozy fireplace in our room with no timer and two large cozy chairs on either side. What's not to like?

Great central location
A really comfortable and friendly hotel perfectly located to walk into Chatham for bars, restaurants and shops. Great central spot for exploring the Cape.

Pleasant stay
The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room. Audrey and his team went out of their way to help us resolve the issue. The breakfast was great. The property is within walking distance to downtown Chatham. Very convenient. We had a great stay here.

The staff was fantastic, the breakfast was out of this world good (if you don't like what's on the menu, they will custom your meal). The property was immaculate and it was located walking distance to the hub of Chatham. If was a perfect stay.

We had the garden room. Not really up to snuff with other rooms. Ceiling height and doorway to bath too low ! I’m 6’2”, not that tall, and I cracked my head on both ! Learned lesson and avoided crack to head on outside doorway. A lawsuit waiting to happen! No closet only small armoire ! Not sure you should rent this one out. Everything else OK.

We had a wonderful stay at the Captain's House Inn. After recently reading reviews, I quickly adjusted our reservations to say in Chatham. I was pleasantly surprised throughout the entirety of our stay just how accurate others reviews were. The staff was charming, informative and pleasant. Great location and beautiful grounds. We will be back soon!

The Captain's House Inn was a wonderful gem that sits inside of Chatham like an oasis of peace. The charm of the place was enhanced by the absolutely amazing staff. Normally I would point out people by name, but to do so, in this case, would be futile since each and every staff member was amazing. If I could give the place a higher review I would.

This is a very quaint, quiet, well-run B&B with more-than-usual services offered for this type of property; including a real breakfast, high-tea, brandy & sherry self-service 24 hours in the library, and an open kitchen. It's located about a 1/4 mile from Main Street, and 1/4 mile from Chatham Bars Inn. It's an excellent alternative Chatham Bars or Wequasett, if you don't need the extra amenities and services. The rooms are as beautiful as they appear on the website. I highly recommend this B&B if you want to stay in Chatham and not spend the price of a small car for a week's holiday.

This property embodies a New England Inn. The manager Paige is friendly, courteous, and professional. We started with a tour and were briefed on amenities. Outstanding service as she had double duties in the off season and brought us tea to our room ( Madagascar vanilla ) The Inn is glorious in the fine detail of the woodworking. The modernization like boxing in a TV above the fireplace in our room perfectly matches the existing 200 year old molding and trim. Bravo

All of the little extras like breakfast, afternoon tee and pastries as well as the evening fresh baked cookies. Oh, and the Port and Sherry in the study along with the hundreds of free DVD”s. These are all small perk that go a long way.

Our stay was fantastic. The inn and grounds are beautiful. The “extras” set the inn apart from other places we have stayed; snacks in the room, cookies in the kitchen every night and delicious breakfasts! We will be back again!
