Your Ellijay escape awaits at this charming 2-storey cabin with spiral staircase to a semi-private loft and balcony. With 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds, this cozy retreat offers a tranquil setting for guests to relax and enjoy the Mulberry Gap experience!

Note: This bedroom-style cabin does not have it's own bathroom or cooking area, instead having access to shared bathhouses and a guest kitchenette.

The price listed for SQUIRREL'S NEST CABIN includes THREE GUESTS. Additional Guests will be charged $93.06 per person per night. (Young children age 0-7 stay free)

Squirrel's Nest Cabin is located at Mulberry Gap Adventure Basecamp, an awesome little adventure resort located just 20 minutes west of downtown Ellijay, Georgia. Mulberry Gap has that laid-back "summer camp vibe," but for individuals and families!

We have:
- 11 "glampy" cabins
- 11 campsites
- An onsite dining hall which serves meals Friday Dinner through Sunday Breakfast (extra cost)

Hot Tub Update (2026): Due to updated health department requirements, we're no longer able to offer shared hot tubs as a general guest amenity. Moving forward, one hot tub will be designated for Trail's End Cabin and one for Hemlock Hideaway, with access managed by the guests staying in those cabins. Guests in these two cabins are welcome to invite friends staying in other cabins or campsites to join them for a soak! Hot tub access is otherwise unavailable to guests staying in other accommodations.
