Nooga Nest - Charming 4BD, 2BA - 8 Mins From Downtown

Get to know Chattanooga like a local. This charming home is located just 8 minutes from downtown where you can enjoy all of the best bars, restaurants, and shops the city has to offer. Relax with family and friends in one of two living rooms, and prepare your favorite meal in the updated kitchen. At days end, wind down in the jacuzzi tub or the walk-in shower. Brew a pot of coffee, or pour a glass of wine and nestle up next to the fireplace while you enjoy your favorite book or TV show.

The Space
This home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and sleeps 8 people comfortably. There are 2 living rooms that offer ample seating, each with a TV. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Each floor has its own full bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with all of the essentials to cook your favorite meals. The laundry room is available if a quick load is needed.

Guest access
Getting into the home is easy. The front door is a smart lock that will be opened with a code. There is plenty of off street parking in the properties private driveway where each guest can park their car.

Other things to note
The home has a great backyard where you can enjoy yard games or relax around the firepit. The electric fireplace really sets the mood in the living room, but it does not conduct heat. The central air unit will take care of heating and cooling the home. On the 2nd floor, you will find an in-wall dual temperature unit for supplemental heating and cooling.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room; great communication with host. We encountered a few minor housekeeping problems. Not sure if the listing includes this but the property is not well-suited for anyone with mobility issues.

Driveway needs work so does the floors on the first floor. Trash was overflowing before we added ours from a three night stay. Was not overjoyed by the area. Since you can’t really see the location till after it’s too late to change I will think twice before I book Vrbo again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Nooga Nest. The house had plenty of room and was close to everything. Our host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and provided suggestions for dining, activities and shopping. From arrival to departure, the process was seamless.

Great Location and room for a larger family

Location is close enough to be able to drive to downtown Chattanooga within just a few minutes, but far enough away that you don’t have to deal with as much noise or parking nightmare. As a family of seven, getting accommodations at a hotel is usually a logistical and financial nightmare. This place was perfect for us! House had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. Owner was quick to respond to questions and communicated very well. Highly recommended

Great House for our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Nooga Nest! We stayed 5 nights and the space was perfect for our family of 6…there were three bedrooms with either a King or Queen bed and a fourth bedroom with a set of twin beds for our two grandsons. The house was very clean inside, the beds were comfortable and the linens were very soft and plush. Having the extra den space with tv downstairs worked well for our two grandsons while still giving the adults a place to gather in the living room. Although we only used it for breakfast and coffee prep, the kitchen had everything we needed and the water pitcher in the fridge was a blessing and refilled multiple times per day!John (our host) was wonderful to work with and very quick to respond or just message to check in on us throughout the week. We were there during the huge heat wave the south experienced during the last week of June 2025 and temps were in the upper 90s almost every day. The upstairs was very hot during the day and the upstairs AC unit was not adequate to cool it but using the floor fans the owner had in each of the upstairs bedrooms made the rooms much cooler at night. Our daughter and son-in-law said it was much better in the evening and nights. The overgrown bushes in the front and back yards did not leave the best impression when first arriving at the house. But as the temps were so high, we couldn’t have been outside enjoying the space anyway. John did say the landscaping would be addressed after the heat wave ended.

My family and I really enjoyed our 5-night stay at the Nooga Nest! We especially loved the second living room for our kids to have their own hangout space. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The location is a quick drive away from all the attractions we wanted to visit. Our host was very responsive, offered great recommendations for area restaurants, and gave instructions that were crystal clear. Highly recommend staying here!!

Lovely vintage home

Loved this old home. The owner has done a fantastic job renovating it. The house was very clean, plenty of towels, the kitchen is well-stocked. The location is good: only about 10 min drive to downtown, aquarium and ballpark. Rock City is only 20-25 min away. The house does sit on a busy street, but it was not bothersome to us (except for some anti-muffler cars!). There is ample off-street parking so that was nice. Felt safe in this house. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house

We were in Chattanooga for the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon and wanted to be close to Ross’s Landing so this was great. I had everything I needed to cook a couple of meals. The backyard was great and we had dinner out there. We also enjoyed the front porch and relaxed out there too. It worked out great for our stay!

This house was close to everything we came to Chattanooga to do. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were super comfy, and everything was very clean. The owner immediately responded everytime we messaged, and even reached out upon arrival to ensure we arrived safely.
