Smoky Mountain Depot ~ Grande cabina isolata in una comunità recintata

Questa è una grande cabina isolata in una gated community. La tranquillità di questa montagna porterà serenità anche ai più affollati di quelli tra noi.

Fermati, goditi una tazza di Joe nell'ampio portico del mattino e l'intimità di un caldo fuoco durante la notte.

La nostra cabina si trova a 25 minuti dal Nantahala Outdoor Center, dall'Appalachian Trail, dalla Tsali Recreation Area e dal Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Ci troviamo anche a meno di 30 miglia da Hwy 129, The Tail of the Dragon, pista motociclistica.

Davvero, c'è qualcosa per tutti!

La cabina comprende una camera matrimoniale con letto king size al piano di sotto, e un soppalco con 2 letti queen size. Tutti i comfort di casa e poi alcuni. C'è una cucina completamente ristrutturata con tutti gli elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, fornelli a gas, lavastoviglie e persino un pavimento piastrellato riscaldato per tenere calde le dita dei piedi scalzi al mattino. È tutto completato con Oronoko Granite dal Brasile.

Anche il bagno è stato aggiornato con nuove lavatrici e asciugatrici e armadietti.

Nella zona giorno potrete godervi la bellezza e il calore di una stufa a legna, TV a grande schermo, lettore DVD e 100 film tra cui scegliere. Teak brasiliano abbellisce i pavimenti per una bella sensazione di calore. Sedetevi e godetevi il treno a "G" mentre corre intorno alla cabina e anche attraverso le pareti.

Perfect cabin in the mountains. Nice and quiet. Had everything we needed. Kids loved the train. Had games and movies to enjoy our cold nights. Short 30 minute access to trails and groceries too. Would definitely come back

Beautiful home! Furnished with all the necessities and clean! Just make sure you bring the food and snacks you want with you, don’t go to the house first and then think you’ll go to the store. It’s a long drive up to the house so be prepared but it is worth it!

The home was very clean and well stocked. The shower was great and the beds comfortable. Gorgeous views and very isolated. We have little ones that couldn’t play too much outside because it was quite the drop in the front yard, but our older kids liked to explore. They especially loved the train that runs around the top of the rooms, they were amazed! Very neat feature for any train lover! Be prepared, the drive up is mostly single lane roads when you get off the hwy, it is paved though. We were a little uncomfortable with the drive, but the owner clearly gives directions prior to arriving.

The host was great at communication all throughout the stay! The cabin was very private and secluded, the perfect spot for a weekend getaway from the responsibilities of a hectic life allowing time to unwind. We had a few friendly deer visit the front yard near the porch. The train theme was evident and the real train around the ceiling was a perfect addition. A true gem hidden high in the mountains!

The view from this cabin is spectacular. Unfortunately, there was no outside hot tub, but there is a huge jetted bathtub inside the cabin that was nice. As Mark suggested in his instructions, it is essential to back into the steep driveway. The train was a unique touch and the wood burning fireplace was cozy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Smoky Mountain Depot. Our host, Mark, was friendly and quick to respond to our questions. The cabin was spotless and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The view is amazing, and the surroundings are utterly quiet. We spent almost an entire day on the porch just listening to the birds sing and watching the sun and mist rise and set over the mountains. The drive from the main road to and from the cabin was a bit daunting for us "flatlanders", but our efforts were well-rewarded with excellent accommodations in a peaceful and secluded setting.

WE love Smoky Mountain Depot. This was our 2nd stay at the cabin and the views, the peaceful privacy, and the outstanding accommodations were wonderful. The road trip to to cabin is quite an adventure and is an exciting part of the overall experience.

Mountain Retreat

Absolutely stunning. I’ll definitely be back when I visit the Smokies again.Everything was comfortable, clean and the cabin was equipped with most things you would need for a short stay already.

Secluded Mountain Oasis

The Smokey Mountain Depot delivered seclusion with a breath taking view! The highlight of our stay was filled with sitting on the porch taking in the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. The accommodations were very comfortable and the attention to detail was definitely noticeable. Our visit to the Smoky Mountains was memorable with our stay at the Depot being among the top of our favorites on our trip.
