Stanno chiamando i boschi? Viaggia su una strada sterrata e sterrata per trovare questa piccola casa e un ambiente unico. La cabina di 400 piedi quadrati si affaccia su due insenature di massi che convergono in una più una vista sulla cresta della montagna! Lascia che questo rifugio nella foresta porti tranquillità o avventura per una coppia durante la notte o più a lungo. Scendi dai sentieri battuti e rilassati in questo straordinario "incrocio" (la cabina è in leggera pendenza di ghiaia, a 2 miglia da una strada asfaltata, tutti i veicoli hanno bisogno di uno spazio di 5 ". 1. 2 miglia di strada sterrata / sterrata irregolare con buche poco profonde e dossi . Potrebbe essere troppo agitato per le motociclette, ma la trazione integrale non è necessaria. Perderai il segnale cellulare. Usa SOLO le nostre indicazioni!)

I tempi di sfruttamento del passato usavano queste insenature per raccogliere il legname. Il torrente è pieno di massi che offrono un sacco di rumore bianco e piccole cascate che possono essere viste e ascoltate ovunque. Sede di trote di ruscello selvatico o vivaio supportato a valle.
Decorazioni di campagna con cronologia di disboscamento visualizzate in questa casa ben attrezzata di 400 piedi quadrati. Ha tutto il necessario per un viaggiatore da solo o per una coppia. Trascorrere qualche notte o un soggiorno prolungato. Lascia che il torrente impetuoso sia la medicina per la tua anima o esplora i numerosi siti nelle vicinanze.

Barbecue sulla griglia a gas o semplicemente rilassarsi sul ponte o ampio portico coperto. Percorri il tuo sentiero privato che porta al ponte sul creeks per una vista di due insenature che convergono in uno.

La foresta nazionale di Nantahala è il nostro cortile e parco giochi. Porta la tua attrezzatura da esterno per l'avventura proprio fuori dalla porta. Vieni "domare il drago" o cavalcare la "Cherohala Skyway"!

Best rental ever

We have to say this has to be the most well equipped and cleanest rental we have ever stayed in, not to mention the most accommodating hosts, Alice and Doug. We caught trout right out the back and only wish we could have extended our stay longer.

The cabin was perfect for us. We were shocked right away how big it was, especially the deck outside. It was a great, peaceful place to slow down for a few days. It was also close enough for us to go hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as well as other nearby sites and attractions. My wife and I weren’t as prepared as normal for our trip. Good thing we booked through Alice! I think she was the most organized host we’ve had. Her information and directions sent beforehand were great, and additional information in the cabin helped us plan out our empty days. Thanks so much for a perfect getaway! Would gladly return.

Almost Heaven, NC mountains/creeks!

“The Junction” is a cute, immaculate tiny house located above the junction of two beautiful mountain creeks. If an escape to nature’s best is what you are looking for, then here it is! Serenity engulfs you on the front porch, interrupted by the relaxing flow of the creek below. The owners, Alice and Doug, are gracious hosts. Give them a call.

Perfect weekend getaway

If you’re looking to unplug and getaway this the place! Everything about the location of this property is so peaceful. The owner’s have maintained this cabin beautifully and I feel like they go above and beyond to make sure their guests have everything they need! I have never stayed in a cabin that had a kitchen that was so well stocked. This was an overall great experience for my husband and I! We hope to be back. Thank you Alice & Doug!

A mountain paradise

The Junction exceeded our expections. Peace and quiet, beautiful scenery and plenty of trout (mainly rainbows). The terrace was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sound of the creek.We hope to come back some day.

A Piece of Heaven, Literally

My husband and I stayed here as a getaway for my birthday and we could not have asked for a better location, cabin, and host. We had an amazing amount of privacy, and the creek below provides a beautiful 24/7 sound bath. Alice is an absolute gem of a host, and it’s obvious just how much pride she and Doug take in making sure this cabin remains clean and in beautiful condition. The cabin provides absolutely everything you need (except groceries, of course). We were lucky to have found this place and we would absolutely LOVE to come back and enjoy The Junction again and again. Thank you for making my birthday so special, Alice and Doug!!!!

Perfect getaway for trout fishing

My son and I visited so he could fish the nearby trout streams. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. It was very serene and tranquil, away from everything. The house was super clean and cutely decorated and equipped with all comforts of home. The bed was extremely comfortable and they were plenty of places to sit and relax. We really appreciated all of the small touches and loved the chocolate chip muffins! My son had great success fishing in the stream right outside of the house. We will definitely be back to the area and hope to stay here again.

Great little weekend getaway!

Will definitely be back again! Wish we could’ve stayed longer :). Also recommend taking a vehicle that made for off roading. If you’re looking for a place with complete disconnect this is the place! The host was great! Went out of her way to help us when we needed it. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect Couple’s Mountain Getaway

Located two miles down an old logging road by a trout stream and adjacent to Nantahala National Forest, this immaculate tiny home is the perfect venue for rest and relaxation, hiking, fishing, or just soaking in the natural beauty of the mountains. It also offers a 5-star home base for exploring the many attractions the area has to offer. Expertly decorated, neat as a pin and well equipped, you can’t go wrong with ‘The Junction.’

PEACEFUL & SECLUDED ADVENTURE

Started this adventure with the final mile of road not being as challenging as I thought it would be. Actually, it only adds to the backwoods atmosphere which was the idea in the first place! Cabin/cottage more than ample size, particularly with the huge deck which offers both covered and open areas for relaxing in sun or shade. And the 4-5’ ceiling height of the carpeted loft area would have been a cool and exciting sleeping-bag experience for me when I was a kid, not to mention the fun-looking stairs to climb in order to get up there! Every conceivable item of convenience has been thought of in order for guests to have an all-around perfect stay. Great view from the deck 30-40’ above the creek, as well as easy access below for fishing and/or wading. Just a great all-around enjoyable experience thanks to Alice and Doug!!

Simply the best

This cabin and property is incredible. If you are looking for seclusion, nature, comfort and adventure, look no further. The owners put so much effort into maintaining this wonderful forested retreat that you will want to return every year! Waking up to the calming sounds of the brook is a real treat, as is cozily watching a thunderstorm from the deck, or curling up near the fire pit on a cool evening.
