This wooded 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin in Cherry Log sleeps 8, with an arcade loft, wraparound decks, and Blue Ridge just 9.7 miles away. The hardest part is leaving.

Southern Serenity Cabin sits on a wooded lot in Cherry Log, GA — genuine mountain character, real comfort, built for a group that wants to be together and still spread out.

OUTDOOR LIVING
The wraparound deck is the social hub. A private hot tub with Bluetooth speakers anchors the upper deck, flanked by rocking chairs and lounge furniture — string lights auto-on at dusk, off at midnight. The lower deck has cornhole and Pop-a-Shot basketball. The fire pit area is its own destination: black slate stone, Adirondack chairs and bench seating for eight, lit pathway down. A propane grill and outdoor dining area round it out — coffee, lunch, dinner under the trees.

MAIN FLOOR
Vaulted ceilings open the cabin up as you walk in. The living room centers on a remote-control gas fireplace, leather couch, and 50-inch Roku TV, with a bar ledge and two extra seats. The full kitchen: electric range, full-size refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, crock pot, blender, and a dual-service coffee maker for K-cups or grounds. A round table seats the group for cards after dinner.

THE LOFT
Climb the stairs and the loft is its own world. A second king bed sits under a ceiling fan, and the futon folds out into a queen for overflow sleeping. The game room is why kids sprint upstairs first: foosball, Golden Tee Golf, and a Pac-Man cabinet under a lit "Classic Arcade" sign, plus a 55-inch Roku TV. A dedicated loft desk gives remote workers a place to work. Its own full bath has a shower, plus a space-saving washer/dryer combo.

SLEEPING: 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 1 queen futon. Sleeps up to 8, four Roku TVs so nobody argues over the remote.

LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY
The cabin sits centrally between three North Georgia mountain towns — never more than about 25 minutes from something to do.

BLUE RIDGE (9.7 miles, ~20 min): Downtown shops, art galleries, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway wine excursion, Mercier Orchards, the Expedition Bigfoot Museum, and Lake Blue Ridge for swimming/kayaking (~26 min).

ELLIJAY (14 miles, ~24 min): B.J. Reece Orchards, downtown dining and shops.

McCAYSVILLE (12.2 miles, ~22 min): On the GA/TN border — Riverwalk shops, local restaurants, Tooey's Music Venue for live music.

FAMILIES WITH KIDS: The loft game room gives kids their own space while parents unwind on the deck. Fire pit s'mores, trail access from the property, Fightingtown Creek around the corner.

FRIEND GROUPS (4-8): Hot tub, fire pit, foosball, arcade games, cornhole, Pop-a-Shot — there's always something to do. Blue Ridge restaurants and wineries are 20 minutes out for a night off the property.

BACHELORETTE / BACHELOR TRIPS: Wine tasting or kayaking by day, hot tub and fire pit by night. The amenity stack is built to keep the energy going.

COUPLES RETREATS: Two main-floor bedrooms plus the loft give up to three couples real privacy. Smart lock check-in, no coordinating key handoffs.

REMOTE WORKERS: Reliable WiFi and a dedicated loft desk mean real work gets done, then the kitchen takes over for real meals.

GUEST ACCESS
You'll have full, private access to the cabin — every interior space and both decks are yours. Check-in is self-service: your smart lock code arrives through the app before arrival, no meetup to coordinate. A backup key sits in a lockbox just in case. The only off-limits area is a locked crawl space on the lower deck, reserved for owner maintenance. The host isn't on-site but responds within an hour.

PARKING
Free parking on premises, with room for multiple vehicles — no permits or street parking to worry about. The last stretch in is a gravel mountain road, typical for North Georgia and part of the genuine cabin experience. Two-wheel-drive handles it fine in most weather conditions. Motion-sensing lights and a security camera cover the driveway after dark.

COMMUNICATION:
We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their mountain retreat. We will not be present during your stay, but we are always available and happy to assist with any questions or needs via the messaging app or by phone. Check-in is seamless with a smart lock, so you can arrive and unwind at your own pace.

HOUSE RULES
Check-in after 4:00 PM, check-out before 10:00 AM, maximum 8 guests. Must be 21 to book. Well-behaved pets welcome (Dogs only) - max of 2, 50 lbs max each, $75 per pet. Quiet hours run 10:00 PM–8:00 AM; please keep parties off the property. No smoking or vaping indoors or on the decks.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: A signed rental agreement and a $300 security deposit hold are required to finalize your booking. An automated message with a link to complete these will be sent after you reserve. Directions and door codes will not be issued until both items are received. The Security Deposit is released shortly after departure once the cleaning staff has verified that there is no damage or extra cleaning required.

STARTER SUPPLIES: We provide an initial starter supply of toiletries, paper towels, trash bags, and laundry pods. For longer stays, you may need to purchase additional supplies from nearby stores.

MOUNTAIN LIVING: This is a true cabin-in-the-woods experience. You may encounter wildlife like bears and bugs; please keep car doors locked and do not leave food outside. The metal roof can also be noisy during heavy rains and when acorns and small branches drop from the trees.

POWER AND WIFI: In the event of bad weather, power outages can occur, which would affect Wi-Fi. Emergency flashlights are provided for your convenience. We will attempt to provide updates on power restoration as much as possible; however, we can only provide what local power companies are sharing.

FIREWOOD: We do our best to keep firewood stocked for the fire pit, but a supply is not guaranteed. We recommend bringing your own fire-starting materials. Firewood is available for purchase at local stores.

CANCELLATION POLICY: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days before the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days before the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days before the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 48 hours after booking if arrival is at least 6 days away at the time of booking.
