Escape to your own private and serene North Georgia mountains sanctuary. The Lazy Laurel is a peaceful and private cabin tucked away at the end of a private neighborhood. Relax to the soothing sounds of Fightingtown Creek and enjoy year-round mountain views from the porch, hot tub and large newly built fire pit terrace. With a fully stocked kitchen, a game room and a cozy fireplace, this cabin is an ideal retreat for a family, group of friends, or a romantic getaway. Centrally located 20 minutes from Blue Ridge or Ellijay and pet-friendly (no extra fee!).

Truly amazing hosts who really do care about their guests. They will go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a great stay. We had an issue with hot tub on arrival. Jamie was very quick to respond and took care of the issue promptly. Cabin was clean. Bed was comfortable. Saw deer on the property most mornings. Deck was relaxing spot. Fireplace heats up the cabin quickly with just a touch of a button. Very enjoyable stay.

Your cabin was immaculate, comfortable, and just as pretty as the pictures! It was the perfect layout for our family of 4..... my husband and I enjoyed the main floor, while our teens claimed the downstairs bedroom and game room as their hangout. (The pool table and mini-fridge was a huge hit!) Our pup loved the gated porch most of all - we spent countless hours out there enjoying the stunning views. I slept like a baby every night (which speaks volumes for the comfort of your beds) and we hardly left the property during our 5-night stay. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

This is a first-class rental with an immaculate cabin stocked with the essentials to make the things hassle free from beginning to end. Leave your troubles at home!

This was a wonderful cabin! The view was spectacular from the covered porch. There were cabins in close proximity but you would never know it because of the way it was situated on the lot—very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the fire-pit also and being able to have our pup with us. Lots to do in the area for those looking to get out. Perfection!

Wonderful and relaxing

The cabin was in a great location with nice waterfall sounds. It was within minutes of Blue Ridge DT. The hosts had the cabin fully stocked and ready for our arrival. The hosts were very communicative. We will be back for sure!

That porch!

The cabin is perfect. It was more than I expected. The kids (5, 9, 11) really enjoyed the downstairs with the game room and “autonomy.” The road to the cabin is intimidating for a Florida girl. Single lane, have to figure it out if someone comes the other way but adds to the adventure. I was in a Suburban and it’s do-able.
