"Nice staff and environment. But hotel was a little old considering it was a Marriot. It needs to be updated. The carpet in the floor hall was really loose and had rolls in it. The walls in the room were worn and looked dirty. And the tub/shower was stained."

"The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. However, they were grossly understaffed. It took forever to use the valet and one of the front receptionists threatened to quit in front of customers while cussing in front of children."

"We were big fans of this property. Very comfortable, clean. So peaceful and great location, very convenient to downtown Charleston! The property was stocked with everything we needed. The Pacman was a huge hit with our oldest. We will definitely be back!"

"We found this property to far exceed our expectations. It was well furnished and extremely clean. Everything you can imagine was supplied from K Cups to Q Tips. We were even met with special treats upon our arrival. We truly enjoyed watching the various birds and wildlife enjoying the bird feeder. ..."
