You'll feel it the moment you walk in — this isn't a typical rental. It's a sprawling, light-filled home on one of Chicago's most beautiful tree-lined blocks, surrounded by Victorian mansions and old-growth oaks.
Curl up in the cozy living room, work from the sunny bay windows, dine together at the table for 8, then end the night on the string-lit patio. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, garage parking. Sleeps 9. This is how Chicago is supposed to feel.
The Space:
The apartment is larger than it looks from the street — and it already looks like it belongs in a design magazine.
Living Space:
Step inside to an oversized living room anchored by a decorative fireplace and a dedicated workspace tucked into the south-facing bay windows, flooded with natural light. The space provides ample room to relax, work, or gather. A dedicated workspace makes it ideal for longer stays or remote work.
Bedrooms:
The primary bedroom has a King bed and an ensuite bath.
The second bedroom has a queen bed plus a cozy futon (great for a solo traveler or a parent bunking with a kid).
The third bedroom is cozy and intimate — full bed, a chair, and a window with natural light.
Note: the layout is classic Chicago — you pass through the second bedroom to reach the third. We provide a privacy screen so guests can create separation as needed.
Dining areas:
The dining room comfortably seats 8 beneath a statement light fixture—perfect for shared meals, celebrations, or game nights. The kitchen includes a charming breakfast nook with seating for 4.
The back patio is the kind of space people come home to: L-shaped sofa, a chair, and warm string lighting that makes evenings here genuinely special. Garage parking is available at the rear of the building, with easy courtyard access.
Total sleep capacity: 9 (primary queen, bedroom 2 queen + futon, bedroom 3 full + queen air mattress available).
Thoughtfully designed with comfort and style in mind, this home blends classic Chicago charm with modern, cozy interiors.
Garage parking is included with easy access through the rear courtyard.
Other Things to Note:
Accessibility: There are steps at the front entrance of the building, and 5 interior steps to the unit door. This home is not wheelchair accessible.
The building is a 6-unit vintage Chicago apartment building. It has wonderful neighbors and quiet common areas — please be respectful of the building community.
Parking is in a detached garage behind the building, accessed through the rear courtyard. It's functional rather than fancy, but secure and convenient.
The third bedroom is cozy — think boutique hotel single room energy. It has a double bed and a sitting chair.
The pass-through bedroom layout is a classic Chicago apartment feature. The privacy screen provided makes this fully workable for groups of friends or families who are comfortable with it. We recommend this unit for groups who know each other well.

Stephanie’s home is absolutely superb. So thoughtfully designed, immaculate, and SO spacious! Enjoyed the quiet, tree-lined streets while still being within easy access of downtown.

Nice, clean place for a Chicago weekend or longer with the family. Location can’t be beat for Wrigleyville, Ravenswood, Lincoln Square, etc. in a super cute residential neighborhood. We walked to coffee, dinner, the El. Apt overall was comfy with large living room and adequate bedrooms (beds were comfy). Washer and dryer was nice, as was the large dining room table. Could have done without the few corny rental agency touches like fake plants and faux books. Patio was typical Chicago back stairway-space with a not great view of the back alley and garage but well furnished and lit. We would def stay here again.
