The host was not communicative or attentive to the details of my booking. When I would ask questions about the address (the address listed on the profile is different from the one that is one the link), she would refuse to answer and just say that it would be the check-in information. She also did not send the check-in information in time, which affected the trip for me and the other guests. When I was communicating with the host about the property the day before my trip, she would say that the information was in the document that would be sent 24 hours before our arrival. She didn’t not realize that it was already 24 hours before our arrival to the property. On the day we arrived, one of the guests had been waiting outside because we never were given the passcode to enter the building. I messaged her on the app, but received no response. When I tried calling her via the phone number on the app, it took me to the customer support number for Vrbo. It wasn’t until I contacted a customer support representative, who had then contacted the host, that I received a response on how we can access our reserved room. The representative then said that it was because someone “forgot.”We were supposed to check in at 3:00 pm, but could not get into our room until 5:00 pm. The other guests and I were supposed to be getting ready for an event at 4 pm. At then end of the trip, while we were cleaning, we saw that there was a large, dead cockroach in the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink.
