Quintessential chalet britannico.

Situato nel paesino di campagna di Birdham, Spence Cottage si trova nel luogo ideale per accedere facilmente alla storica città di Chichester o West Wittering spiaggia. Sulla strada verso il basso per le nostre famose spiagge dorate si può facilmente saltare il traffico e per il nostro posto preferito di sabbia in poco tempo la testa sopra. Vicino al villaggio di vela, Itchenor Spence Cottage è una base eccellente per i marinai avidi o per coloro che vogliono solo essere vicino alla costa meridionale.

Recentemente ristrutturato Spence Cottage ha tutto il necessario per efficacemente auto-soddisfare durante il vostro soggiorno. La nuovissima cucina è dotata di fornelli, frigorifero, freezer, forno a microonde, lavatrice e asciugatrice e prevede un piano aperto tramite un bancone all'area pranzo e soggiorno.

Il casolare è stato arredato ad un livello molto alto e la moderna zona soggiorno confortevole è uno spazio tranquillo per rilassarsi dopo una lunga giornata trascorsa a visitare! Perché non aprire le alte porte francesi al giardino e utilizzare il tavolo e le sedie per un po 'di frullato.

Spence Cottage ha due camere da letto di buone dimensioni. Una camera da letto matrimoniale e una doppia con un bagno familiare tra i due con vasca e doccia.

Il cottage è dotato di due posti auto, quindi c'è un ampio spazio per le coppie che viaggiano insieme o una famiglia.

A terrific week in Spence Cottage

We had a great stay in Spence Cottage. The house was lovely, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Very handy to have a washer and dryer for a beach stay. We enjoyed using the patio as well. Location was very good, a quick drive to East or West Wittering and having the shop next door was a nice feature. The area is not that walkable, so you do need to drive most places. All in all, it was a great house and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Cozy Cottage

The open space on the main level made the kitchen, dining, and living spaces very functional. The fully enclosed terrace off the living room made the outdoor space very safe for our young grandchildren when they visited. The fully equipped house made our visit very comfortable.

Convenient for local attractions

Plus points: - The property was smartly presented and spacious - There is a shop just up the road and petrol station next door - Attractive patio area - Close to Chichester for shops. Beaches and marinas nearby, also lots of local eating places Minus points: - The kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned and the recycling hadn't been emptied - It's right on a main road so quite noisy from traffic a lot of the time - Shower had no pressure - better off using the bath - The heating had not been on at all so took a day to get the place warm enough. It's normally timed to only come on in the morning and evening but that's not enough to heat the place in the winter. I think 50/50 as to whether we'd stay there again. It's probably great in the summer when you want the beach or marina, can use the garden, and are not worried about the heating, but it's not a great place for a winter stay.

Summerweek holiday in Birdham

We've had a lovely stay. It's a nice, friendly cottage. De traffic around the cottage is very nearby and loud, so we didn't sat in the garden very much. De wifi was two days out, which my husband and I didn't mind but our teenage children did… When we arrived there's was one bed (the fifth) not available, but after contacting with the agency this was solved very quickly. The instructions were fine, but we received them when we booked (in january) and I didn't remember this instruction e-mail anymore, so when we arrived we forgot how to check in. Maybe it's wiser to give the instruction e-mail just a few days before the actual stay. But further on we can recommend this cottage for a nice summerweek-holiday for family with (teenage) children.

Cottage confortable, bien agencé, dans un style très cosy. Nous avons aussi apprécié une supérette à 200 mètres permettant de faire les courses quotidiennes. Quelques reproches : - le bruit de le route, toute proche, plus les rideaux clairs ne permettent pas des nuits de tout repos. - de plus la literie est loin d'être confortable.

We are enjoying our stay at Spence Cottage very much.

We have enjoyed sitting out on the patio with a glass of wine, although found the traffic noisey. The Cottage is beautiful very clean and well appointed, our agents Laura & Cleo were also very helpful. We would definitely stay here again if in this neck of the woods

The quintessential (modern) English cottage.......

Our expectations were high as we saw the photo's of the Cottage online but we were not disappointed. Tasteful interior design which gave the whole place a light and modern touch. Even the wonky floors seem to add character. We can definitely recommend this property.

The property was well decorated and clean. I felt that the curtains in the master bedroom should have a thick lining as it was very bright at night and did face the main road. I also felt it would benefit from a dishwasher. All other UK rental properties I have stayed in always have one. I booked it late in the session, and in hindsight should have gone with one that had 2 bathrooms.

Very attractive and well equipped Cottage although a little closer to a busy road and petrol station than the photo suggests. Good base for exploring West Sussex and great beach close by
