Nestled in the picturesque village of Hunston, just 2 miles south of Chichester, this delightful retreat is ideally located near stunning local beaches, including the pristine sand dunes of West Wittering, Bracklesham, and Selsey. Experience a perfect blend of comfort and tranquillity in this serene getaway!

Our light and inviting open-plan living space is designed for 2 guests. This cosy retreat features a comfortable double bed and boasts large bifold doors that gracefully open to reveal a stunning garden and patio area, perfect for enjoying the fresh air. Inside, you’ll find a delightful kitchenette equipped with a convenient microwave oven, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, and a portable electric hot plate to prepare your favourite meals. A dining table with two chairs invites you to savour your culinary creations, while the living area provides ample comfortable seating around a large smart TV and a Wii console, ensuring your stay is both relaxing and entertaining. Step into a modern sanctuary where the bathroom boasts an electric walk-in shower, a sleek toilet, and a stylish sink designed for your comfort.

During your stay at The Shed, indulge in the convenience of free parking, and don't forget to bring your bicycles to traverse the stunning local bike routes. Embrace adventure and relaxation in one perfect getaway! There is a EV charge point which is available by arrangement and for an additional fee if you would like to charge your electric car.

Nestled on the same grounds as the White House, the shed offers a unique experience. While the garden is a shared space, you will have the patio exclusively for your enjoyment—a perfect spot to relax and unwind.

We’re delighted to welcome dogs as our guests—at no extra charge when booked in advance! To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, we kindly ask that dogs remain off the furniture.

Please note:

- The garden is shared and features a small gate.
- A main road is located at the bottom of the driveway, so we recommend keeping your dog on a lead when outside.
- Dog owners accept full responsibility for their pet's safety and behaviour during their stay.

For your pup’s comfort, we provide:

- Towels for drying off after a walk

Upon your arrival, we provide a thoughtfully curated welcome pack for our guests. This pack includes an array of essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, tea towels, hand wash, cooking spray, dishwasher tablets, matches, sun cream, tissues, hand sanitiser, bin bags, and more. Additionally, you'll find a selection of indulgent goodies, including chocolates and sweets, to make your stay extra special.
We also provide shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, and there is hand soap available at each sink.

Experience the convenience of our complimentary offerings, including a travel cot (just bring your own linen) and high chair, as well as baby packs for 0-2 year olds and toddler packs for 2-4 year olds. To ensure availability, please request these items in advance, for short stays only. Kindly leave all items in the property at the end of your stay, and rest assured that they will be thoroughly cleaned and sterilised for the next guest.

Imagine being just a short drive away from the beautiful Pagham and Selsey Beaches, and a mere 15-minute drive from the renowned dunes of West Wittering. Additionally, the Southend Barns wedding venue is a quick 4-minute drive away, making it the perfect choice for wedding guests seeking nearby accommodation.

If a sport on lunch or dinner is on your to-do list, The Spotted Cow at Hunston is a 1-minute walk away. With a lovely garden and delicious menu, this is the perfect spot on a summer's day!

If canoeing and kayaking is a hobby you like to take part in, just a 5 minute walk away is Chichester Canal. If you prefer to stay on land, you can walk along the tow path either North in the direction of Chichester or to Chichester Marina. For guests who are keen to explore on the water, we have a wealth of knowledge of local companies who offer fishing trips, paddle boarding, canoeing and windsurfing lessons.

The Shed also provides convenient access to a myriad of shops, bars, restaurants, and cafes right in the heart of Chichester City Centre. Immerse yourself in the renowned Chichester Festival Theatre, contemporary art, and rich historical sites, all at your fingertips.

Located in the village of Hunston, which has a few shops, which has a post office, and a village store. Additionally, a nearby bus route, the number 51, offers easy access to Chichester bus station to the North or Selsey village and beach to the South.

If you enjoy walking, hiking and cycling you'll love the picturesque coastal routes that offer breath-taking views of Chichester Harbour. Additionally, there are numerous country routes nearby that provide an opportunity to explore the stunning South Downs National Park.

A fabulous local restaurant, only a 5 minute drive away, is CHK Ristorante. Serving all things Italian, from fresh pizzas to pasta and take-away food is possible if you haven't booked a table. Advance booking here is a must!

For a lovely walk and a bite to eat, visit Chichester Marina and The Boat House Cafe. Only a 8 minute drive away, you will find stunning views and fresh ingredients.

The Crown and Anchor at Dell Quay is also a must go to pub, only a 8 minute drive away. The views across Chichester Harbour are breath-taking and the food is delicious.

The Goodwood Estate is just a 15 minutes drive, which offers a myriad of events throughout the season including motor-racing (Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival & Members Meetings) and horse-racing. There are buses and many taxi companies operating in the area, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help in organising this.

If you fancy a round of golf the Chichester Golf Club is a 4 minute drive away and offers indoor and outdoor adventure golf as well as their tower and cathedral courses for the keen golfer!

Chichester boasts many beautiful parks, some of which with play equipment for children. Oaklands Park, Priory Park and Bishops Palace Gardens offer stunning views of this historic city.

The city walls walk which encircle the Chichester and the cathedral, are great if you like to soak up the history of the city.

Chichester's City Gate is an area near the train station which has restaurants, cinema, bowling, arcade games and laser quest.

Follow the signs to Hunston and the property is just after the Spotted Cow Pub.

By Train:
The nearest station is Chichester, around 2 miles away. From the station:
- A bus station is located opposite, where you can take the 51 bus and walk from the nearest stop.
- Taxis are available directly outside the station. Alternatively, you can pre-book with local firms such as Starline (01243 531666).

By Plane:
The nearest airports are Gatwick and Southampton. From either airport, you can:

- Hire a car and drive directly.
- Take a train to Chichester, then continue by bus or taxi to the property.
