“Fantastic Period Property with lots of Character”

“Staff were incredibly helpful and polite throughout our stay. Room was impeccably clean and breakfast was lovely. Only slight issue was staff were sometimes a little slow getting to us to order cooked breakfast meaning we had to miss out on the one day because we had an impatient toddler. We also had dinner on our first night and it was lush.”

“Excellent staff and dining. Bedroom was spacious with good shower but the bed creaked, was too soft and you wallowed when moving. ”

“Lovely village location and excellent food! We had a room at the front but next time would ask for the back of the building as it was slightly noisy on a warm evening. But, highly recommend”

“The staff were wonderful and cheerful. Restaurant and bar were excellent. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The property is within a five minute walk to the theatres and cathedral. I would definitely stay here again!”
