Vacation for the Whole Family
At our child-friendly farm, our young guests not only have the opportunity to get to know animals such as calves, alpacas, and ponies, but also to actively help out with farm work. This way, children learn more about farm life and how to care for animals in an exciting way.

The region around Lake Chiemsee captivates visitors with its breathtaking scenery and diverse recreational opportunities. Whether hiking, biking, or visiting the impressive Herrenchiemsee Palace—there’s something for everyone here.




Our chalet was built using natural materials from the region. The natural wood floors and the custom-made furniture were crafted from ash and oak sourced from our own forest. The focus was on incorporating as much sustainability and tradition as possible into the design of the home. The hand-planed wooden ceiling contributes to a cozy atmosphere. Subtle lighting elements highlight the open-concept layout.










Living on Two Levels



On the lowerfloor of the chalet, next to the living and dining area with a large sofa, there is a children’s room with a bunk bed (80x190) for one person, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a toilet. On the upper floor, you’ll find the comfortable master bedroom with a double bed without a footboard (180x200). The apartment is equipped with underfloor heating.









Balcony with a panoramic view



From your north-facing balcony, which is not visible from outside, you can enjoy the view of the Tabinger Moor and its magnificent natural surroundings. The balcony is furnished with beautiful garden furniture, perfect for a cozy breakfast.









Amenities of the Non-Smoking Apartment



Due to the allergy-friendly nature of our apartments, we unfortunately cannot allow pets. This vacation rental is equipped with a central vacuum system and is suitable for people with allergies.

We—the Schauer family—are Alexandra and Josef with our daughters Maria and Barbara. At our Schauerhof farm, we’ve been offering “farm stays” since 2025—now in our third generation.
