"The Dublin Place" a cozy 3 bedroom home away from home

Discover this 3-bedroom gem in Chilliwack. Featuring 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, spacious living room, dining area and a large kitchen with bar seating. The kitchen offers modern amenities, a stove oven (with air fryer), microwave and a fridge with an ice maker, washer and dryer, and is stacked with everything needed to cook like home. Step out of the kitchen onto a private deck with BBQ and access to a secluded backyard. The 2 bathrooms offer a shower, bathtub, and hair dryer for added convenience. Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at our place.

The Dublin Place is located in one of Chilliwack's family-friendly neighbourhood's, close to parks, 15 min from highway #1, 5 mins from the Fraser River, 5 min from the new downtown core featuring "Districst 1881" with great local shops, craft breweries, restaurants and local fruit markets. If you like to explore the area, enjoy a beautiful 25 mins drive to Harrison or Cultus Lake. If you feel active, the Vedder River offers some of the best fly fishing, rafting and kayaking in the North America. If hilking or biking is your jam, the mountains around Chilliwack offer countless trails for every skill level.

Almost perfect but needs a few minor fixes

This is our second time staying at this property. The good: it’s recently renovated and spacious enough for the whole family. The kitchen is updated beautifully. Comfortable beds with terrific duvets & linens. Lovely deck, views of the foothills, quiet neighborhood and close enough to be a short drive to all local amenities. The owner is nice. It was also very, very clean. Some not so good: there are a few items that need a handyman - the toilet in the main bathroom isn’t property bolted down so it feels wobbly every time you use it. The dishwasher is also not installed correctly, so it’s difficult to open and Very wobbly (though it still runs well enough). There are also no curtains in the main bathroom which makes showering an uncomfortably exposed experience and no shelf in the small bathroom shower which makes accessing products difficult. These were all issues we noticed the first time we stayed and obviously have not been addressed. Frustratingly, there are no written instructions anywhere in the property and because of a communication snafu we went days without access to the wi-fi which made it very difficult to connect with family over Christmas. Also, there was a shocking lack of tea towels (one), & hand towels (three), and no face cloths or wash cloths of any kind (none). We also had to purchase our own paper towels as only one roll was left for a family of six for a week. Small grievances overall but it did lead to some frustrating moments.
